An Italian sausage pizza from Petrillo’s Pizza in San Gabriel CA…all others pale in comparison. It’s the only thing about California that I truly miss.
Detroit Style pizza with the crispy edges
Pepperoni and pineapple
Mike, of course! WHAT, I thought you said Piazza…Never mind…
Extra anchovies.
Beef, mushroom, and green pepper.
Does New York style encompass Brooklyn style? Because I love Brooklyn style, but I don’t necessarily love all New York style.
To accompany the comments, my favorite song about pizza:
Spam, spam, spam, Italian sausage, pepperoni and spam.
Not sure what type of pizza this was. Me and my cousin were in Seattle last year for a gaming expo and visited this small pizza place. Pretty sure it was a mob front. When we walked in there was a group of what could have passed as Wise Guys standing in the back talking. They stopped talking, looked at us, one guy hollers, “Yo, what you want?” We were like, “um, maybe a pizza?” Guy hollers back, “Have a seat outside and we’ll come see you.” Guy comes out, tells us what pizza he will make for us and offers us a couple beers. We got a great pizza, hand tossed, wood oven, with sausage, olive, mushrooms, lots of mozzarella. Prolly best pizza I ever had. Went back this year and place was gone.
Detroit style (Buddy’s or Shields).
Tomato and Basil.
peperoni and double italian sausage.
Thin crust, usually sausage & onion. But I REALLY like anchovies — when they’re baked on the pizza. The side-order anchovies, that haven’t been cooked, will light your mouth up.
Homemade. I love making homemade pizza dough, slicing garden fresh tomatoes on it, and maybe some homemade pesto sauce.
Sausage pizza from Monical’s Pizza in Illinois. My favorite thin crust ever. Sausage, Pepperoni and bacon from Stadtz’s Big Cheese in Reynoldsburg OH is second best thin crust for me.
Bacon with extra Bacon and Bacon flavored Bacon with more Bacon on the side, top, bottom and middle However: -hold the bacon bits (those things are nasty) and oh yeah stuffed crust with….Bacon !
MSG (Some say Deplorable) Grumpy
Pepperoni only, anything except super-thick, and with a little of that cornmeal dusting on the bottom.
Double cheese with ham & pineapple!
