Democrats, always wanting to get “money out of politics”. Except for theirs.
“We could’ve bought a smart congressional district for $24 million.”
— Democrats
Just another million or two and they coulda been contenders.
So, we could a third party mouse traps then…
Of course, they could have used all that money to actually help all the needy people they’re always professing to care for so much. But noooooooo . . . .
Just another million or two and they coulda been contenders.
I read that the Dems officially squandered anywhere from $50 million to $70 million on this stupid race (there are conflicting reports — big surprise — which are changing as the defeat became apparent).
That doesn’t include the free media coverage, of course, and the free media endorsements of Hollywood celebrities.
The party that decries “too much money in politics.”
And, apparently, they don’t have to report donations under 50 (fifty) dollars, so who knows the actual amount they collected on its back?
