What in tarnation are those symbols called that are used to replace letters in swear words?

You know what I’m talking about. Where someone writes something like d@*# or s#!& or other such.

To understand the pug, first you need to understand the girl, go here to refresh your memory, but basically someone put a little bronze girl standing in front of Wall Street’s bronze charging bull.

When the Bull’s creator complained, the response was:

“What would you say to people who think the bull was fine on its own, and the girl changes the meaning of that statue?” Dokoupil asked Visbal.

“You know, the world changes, and women are here. We are an integral part of the business community and we’re going to be even more important tomorrow,” she responded.

Basically, “too bad, so sad, get over it.”

So now the Bull’s artist has put a little bronze dog lifting a leg towards the girl.

The response to that was… different…
