I used to watch St Elsewhere when it aired on NBC a long time ago. The ending of the series was a little odd, but overall, I really enjoyed the show.
One of my favorite episodes was “Sweet Dreams,” which included a parody of the Z Z Top video for “Legs.”
What brought this up? Nothing. Just wanted an opportunity to watch it again.

Monica Lewinsky, the woman with whom Bill Clinton denied that he had sexual relations, was born July 23, 1973. I still remember a woman (not surprisingly, a lawyer) who told me that she knew lots of women who didn’t consider oral sex to be sex, whereupon I asked her for their names and telephone numbers so that I could not have sex with them.
What did they consider it, a handshake?
I don’t know. It seems that an important ability for lawyers to have is to pretend that things aren’t actually what they are, and I’m afraid that it might be contagious, so I didn’t pursue it any further.
