IBM has created an advanced computer that took on humans in a debate and won.
Amazing. Did the computer have a Twitter account and a Donald Trump AI?
[Honest Trailers – The Incredibles] (Viewer #1,858,450)
Word is, Incredibles 2 will be entertaining, but without all the clever originality of the first movie. Solid sequel, though. Pixar still doesn’t make garbage (glaring at YOU, Dreamworks)

18 Things to Look For the Next Time You Watch Jaws
Note: some indelicate pictures at the link. Jaws was only rated PG, but that was before PG-13 was invented. It’d probably pull an R-rating if it were released today.

The zombie apocalypse is coming, who are 3 people you want on your team?
Adam Baldwin, Bob Munden, and DamnCat (see also Jonesy, from Alien – he was good at spotting trouble)

Coming soon – a Broadway musical about Michael Jackson, called…
Anyone remember Chronicles of Dubya? It came out — Holy! It’s near twelve years ago. Anyway, it’s writing from the era known as “back when Frank was funny.” And it had only been in paperback because we made it so long ago, ebooks weren’t a thing back then.
But now, it’s finally available for Kindle!
What that means is instead of the $20 paperback, you can get the $2.99 ebook if you’re curious what’s in there. To be honest, it’s from so long ago, I don’t remember what’s in there… or if there’s anything I should be embarrassed by. I remember a few things like the Rumsfeld Strangler, Buck the Marine, and Chomps. Hopefully it holds up.
Anyway, just thought I’d mention it to you guys. I just finally put it on Kindle for completeness, but I don’t plan to promote it much. So if you want, there it is.
Now back to getting my next novel out…
For the first time, a robot has successfully operated on a human eye.
The half of me that believes in progress says “hooray!”. The half of me that believes in the inevitable robot uprising says “let’s not teach them human anatomy”.
