Let’s Flip That Coin Again

The city of Boston is considering extending voting rights to non-US citizens.

What a silly thing to do. I know for a fact Boston has a perfectly good harbor they could throw them into, instead.

  1. I’m surprised, the Democrats always win elections here by wide margins as it is, that’s not good enough?

Of course, I suppose, if a few of these “new” “Voters” should happen to slip through and vote for Federal offices that won’t be a problem, will it?

  2. Well they still can and, come to think of it, this might make it easier. While Boston can get these illegals out of the shadows for voting locally that then makes them more visible during Federal elections. I kind of feel that our local Republicans aren’t going to be on the ball about that but one can always hoped to be surprised.

  3. if a state deliberately and knowingly presents an invalid vote, that state’s vote should not be used to determine the outcome of the election.
Right? Is this not already how it works?
I remember when we had paper ballots the instructions clearly and loudly proclaimed with no chance of missing it, that if you (in so many words) left a hanging chad, your vote did not count. Any count that does not follow the rules should be invalid.
