The funny part is that if he hadn’t run into America they all would have died when they ran out of water and food.

A good reminder of how you have to examine the facts, when listening to people who claim to be presenting the facts.
He’s not trying to ‘excuse, disguise, or minimize what happened,’ he says, but you might as well deal in the truth.

Yup… That’s not his journal, that’s a translation of a transcription, as noted in the video
Not the actual journals but then one can say the same thing about a lot of historical writings.
