I’ve been harping about the music from the ’90s lately. I know you’re tired of it. But, isn’t it really worth it? No? Hmmm. I mean, yeah, Thursday nights I’ve been subjecting you to really bad music from a really bad time for music. But maybe other stuff related — say on Friday nights — makes up for it. Or not. Depends on just how awful the ’90s songs are. Some are just bad. Others are really really bad.
So, what’s on your mind? Got something you want to share? It’s Thursday Night Open Thread, and you pick the topic to discuss.
Who wants to start?

Maybe this one will change your mind.

Granted the Spice Girls sucked but it had nothing to do with the 90s…they would have sucked no matter which decade they debuted in. Let’s try another group from the 90s shall we??

Keep it up and I’ll start posting Yoko Ono
According to John Lennon she was a musical genius.
Of course John smoked a lot of dope back in the day.
It reminds me of the old joke:
Q: What’s the difference between a Spice Girls video and a porn movie?
A: The music is better in the porn movie.
There was a local radio commercial in the Time of the Spice Girls (TOTSG) that started the wannabe song then stopping it with a woman’s voice saying “I want you to shut up!” At least I think it was local
Speaking of radio, the new year always makes me nervous. I wonder if my favorite stations will change formats or if a talk person I like will suddenly disappear without a trace.
I used to like seeing the Spice Girls on SNL because I thought they were hot, especially the dark-skinned one. Abs you could grate carrots on.
