Absolutely good comic timing by the guy.
Also good comic scenarios.
Some are so universal that they need no translation. Being extra-gracious to the ladies is funny. Losing his cool is also. Relatable in any culture.
in other scenes, if only he took a little more time to set up a compare-and-contrast of what society’s expectations are, before he unleashed his comic variations. But that’s just my Western bias talking.
You could easily picture it being a great Charlie Chaplin short if he did that. And to tie it all together, maybe if he built a negligible plot around it, too, like trying to win a girl’s affections from a Ping-Pong bully.
