Josselyn Berry, the press secretary for Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, has resigned after a tweet advocating gun violence against “transphobes.”

The tweet came on the heels of a transgender woman killing six people at a Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee.

The tweet featured a gif of a woman holding two handguns, ready to fire, with the caption “us when we see transphobes.”

In the first tweet in the thread, Berry wrote, “If you work in the progressive community and are transphobic, you’re not progressive. Period. End of story. It’s not hard to understand but you’re bigotry masquerading as feminism absolutely is.”

Hi everyone. We will post the Babe or the Gun choice shortly. I wanted to take this opportunity to inform you that a new contest will be occupying the Wednesday feature starting next week.

We have teased it before but consider this official confirmation.

I want to introduce you to the SI Swimsuit Madness.

Based on the tournament format currently on display with Men’s NCAA basketball. We will be contesting two models from SI swimsuit shoots. It will be a ranked choice as these are individual match ups with the winner advancing. But to add some spice it will be a double elimination format so even if a Model loses they still have a chance to win. We will start with 64 contestants and this will be a regular feature every Wednesday. There will be two matches per week. The contestants are not only models but include athletes and others who SI did photoshoots. I hope you will enjoy the new feature.

Hollywood’s Top Native American Producer Is a Fake, Activists Claim

One of Hollywood’s leading Native American figures is being accused of faking her claims of Cherokee heritage, The Post can reveal.

Award-winning Heather Rae, 56, serves on the Academy of Motion Pictures’ Indigenous Alliance, previously headed up the Sundance Institute’s Native American program and claims “my mother was Indian and my father was a cowboy.” Multiple prior news reports have also cited her as having a Cherokee mother.

But a watchdog group called the Tribal Alliance Against Frauds is now demanding the Academy and the producer drop her “false claims” while activists insist she’s at best 1/2048th Cherokee. The group accuses her of profiting from usurping “real American Indian voices and perspectives” and being a fraudulent so-called “Pretendian.”

… I mean, think about this.  I mean, you know, people are beginning to see — they have on television now these emergency room doctors showing what happens when a bullet enters a body when it’s from a revolver or from another gun.  It goes in a straight line and goes out. 
 
But what happens now with that assault weapon — with a AR-15 — it goes in the body and it explodes in the body…

Also, mini-EV-Battery bullets should be banned. There’s every chance that the prosecutor might over-charge.

THE PRESIDENT:  Thank you.  My name is Joe Biden.  (Laughter.)  I’m Dr. Jill Biden’s husband.  (Laughter.)  And I eat Jeni’s Ice Cream, chocolate chip.  (Laughter.)  I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream.  (Laughter.)

By the way, I have a whole refrigerator full upstairs.  (Laughter.)  You think I’m kidding, I’m not.

Ben, how are you, pal? 

SENATOR CARDIN:  Well.

THE PRESIDENT:  One of the best guys in the United States Congress, Ben Cardin.  (Applause.)

Folks, welcome to the White House.

Chinese Authorities Arrest Two Men for ‘Seditious’ Children’s Book

Chinese authorities arrested two men who possessed a children’s book that officials labeled “seditious.”

Police and customs officers arrested the men, aged 38 and 50, on Mar. 13 after searching their homes and finding multiple copies of the book, which describes sheep holding back wolves from the village. The wolves want to take over a village and eat the sheep, pushing the sheep to fight back against them.

Authorities have interpreted the book as referring to Hong Kong and Beijing.
