Burger King Thailand’s Newest Offering Is Made for Cheese Lovers

This week, Burger King Thailand unveiled a meatless burger. No, not a veggie burger. A literal meatless burger known as the “real cheeseburger,” made with 20 slices of American cheese on a bun. And nothing else.

I’m confused. This is something you can’t make at home?

The menu item dropped on Sunday, July 8, along with a social media post [as]suring people, “This is not a joke. This is for real.”

The “burger” is currently selling for 109 Thai baht, or about $3. …

According to the brand’s Facebook post, you can add two more slices for 20 Thai baht, or about .58 cents.

“It was as revolting as you thought it would be: dry, a shock to the digestive system, and literally a thousand calories worth of unnecessary processed cheese,” reporter Eric E Surbano wrote in his review for Lifestyle Asia. “That’s another thing: for something called the ‘Real Cheeseburger,’ there’s nothing real about any of the cheese here.”

She would’ve made a good summertime weather girl, too.

Heart Pacemaker Manufacturer Warns Users To Keep Distance from EV Charging Stations

As Electric vehicle (EV) mandates are currently being considered in at least 17 states, there is a growing list of issues associated with them, like having a pacemaker fitted.

Americans who use a pacemaker are particularly at risk when using charging stations.

The Leading manufacturer of heart pacemakers (Medtronic) has recommended that its users distance themselves at least 12 inches from electric vehicle charging stations, according to The Environmental Health Trust.

Medtronic also warns its users to stay away from electric fences, electric pet containment fences, and transformer boxes.

For Implantable Cardiac Devices

Most household and hobby items are unlikely to affect your heart device when the items are in good working condition, used as intended, and the recommended distances are maintained.

For items that transmit power through an antenna, it is recommended that you follow the noted distances between the antenna and your implanted heart device.
