“Divorce, American Style,” 1:04:30
1967
Three stars: Dick Van Dyke, and Debbie Reynolds’ two breasts in her nightgown. (I don’t remember any other actors. Except some sticky white goo Debbie Reynolds smears all over her face while in her nightgown. She may have spoken in the film.)
I remember the McDonald’s commercials: “Change back from your dollar.”

Yes yes and I remember when it went up to 73 cents in ’73 and people were genuinely outraged beyond belief.
On multiple occasions in the last year, I have paid cash for my lunch, and had to help the clerk count my change as they didn’t know which coin was which or how much they were worth. Literally, I told one of them to give me two quarters, a dime, and a nickel, and his response was to point to a dime in his hand and say “This is a quarter, right? Worth 5 cents?”.
