US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen Walks Back Transitory Inflation Claims: ‘I Regret Saying It’
Fox News via MSN | 3/14/24 | Kristen Altus

As Americans have continued to sound off over sticker shock on retail and grocery shelves, the U.S. Treasury secretary admitted Wednesday that her public predictions were wrong.

“I regret saying it was transitory [inflation]. It has come down, but I think transitory means a few weeks or months to most people. And it’s lasted longer than that,” Janet Yellen told FOX Business’ Edward Lawrence in an exclusive interview.

In early June 2021, Yellen had tamped down inflationary concerns, claiming rising costs and the contributing factors were “transitory,” a term used to describe temporary market conditions.

Dr Fauci said social distancing ‘six foot rule’ was not based on scientific data

Despite efforts to silence lab leak theorists, Fauci admitted it is not a conspiracy

Dr Anthony Fauci admitted that the lab leak Covid origin theory was credible as he shed more light on the chaotic decision-making process behind the scenes of America’s pandemic response.

During his second day of marathon grilling by Congress, the former White House advisor confessed that the lab leak – the idea Covid was engineered and accidentally released from a lab in Wuhan – was ‘not a conspiracy theory’.

Democrats Vote Unanimously To Include Illegal Immigrants In Census
AMAC Newsline | 14 Mar, 2024 | Stephen Katte

Senate Democrats have unanimously defeated Sen. Bill Hagerty’s (R-Tenn.) proposal to bar illegal immigrants from being counted in the national census, warning that their numbers go toward informing the apportioning of House seats and the Electoral College.

Soon after President Joe Biden took office in 2021, he signed an executive order requiring the Census Bureau to determine the population of each state in the United States without regard to whether residents have lawful immigration status.

The amendment, which would be added to the Equal Representation Act that Sen. Hagerty proposed last month, would require the Census Bureau to include a citizenship question in any future census. Anyone who isn’t a U.S. citizen, including people with temporary visas and green cards, would then be excluded from the ballot for congressional district and Electoral College apportionments. Census data is collected every 10 years.

The proposal was attached to the $460 billion government spending package that was passed on Saturday.

The measure was shot down 45-51 after failing to get even a single Democratic vote.

How about counting them as 3/5th of a person for apportionment purposes?

Air Force General Reveals ‘Alarming’ Number of Drones Crossing Into US Airspace at Southern Border: ‘Over 1,000 a Month’
nypost.com | March 15, 2024 | Victor Nava

More than 1,000 drones per month are crossing into US airspace near the border with Mexico, a top general told lawmakers Thursday.

The number of unmanned drone incursions is “alarming” and presents a “growing” potential threat to national security,  Air Force Gen. Gregory Guillot, the commander of North American Defense Command and US Northern Command, said during a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing.

“The number of incursions was something that was alarming to me as I took command last month,” Guillot said in response to a question from Sen. Ted Budd (R-NC).

“I don’t know the actual number – I don’t think anybody does – but it’s in the thousands,” he added.

When pressed by Budd on the timeframe the general was using to make his estimation, Guillot responded, “We can probably have over 1,000 a month.”

The top NORAD official noted that while the number of incursions alarms him, he hasn’t “seen any of them manifest in a threat to the level of national defense.”

“But I see the potential only growing,” Guillot warned.

Mexican cartels have been using drones to track the location of authorities along the US-Mexico border in order to more easily smuggle humans and drugs, according to US Customs and Border Protection officials.

Rio Grande Valley Sector Chief Patrol Agent Gloria Chavez told the House Oversight Committee in February of 2023 that in her Texas sector alone, more than 10,000 drone incursions and 25,000 drone sightings had been reported in the last year.

“The adversaries have 17 times the number of drones, twice the amount of flight hours and unlimited funding to grow their operations,” Chavez told lawmakers.
