What Did People Use Before Toothbrushes Were Invented?
His | 04/09/2024…
One of the earliest known American-made toothbrushes was produced by the Florence Manufacturing Company of Massachusetts. Known as the “Pro-phy-lac-tic,” the brush looked quite similar in design to many modern toothbrushes, though coarse animal hair was still used for the bristles.

What did they use for toothpaste though? Wood charcoal. I heard it taste like ass and took a week for your teeth turn white again..or yellow.
Massachusetts, huh? I heard they were invented in Arkansas, otherwise they would have been named a teethbrush.
“…coarse animal hair was still used for the bristles.”
They clearly did not use cat hair – we’re highly refined animals!
Thats because most people would be sneezing so bad they can’t brush. I know I would.
Not to mention the hairballs.
