Ladies Night

So like a bunch of women won in Republican primaries last night. We have Meg Whitman for governor in California, Carly Fiorina for Senator also in California, Sharron Angle for Senator in Nevada, and Nikki Haley for governor in South Carolina (though there will be a runoff). I don’t know what’s going on, but I for one welcome our new Republican, female overlords.

There have been a lot of extra challenges for female politicians ever since women were first given the right to vote in the sixties. That’s because women have hormones and emotions and stuff. Still, Science! has proven that a woman can be just as good as a politician as a man if she takes regular drugs to suppress these things. Plus, by choosing to be Republicans, these women probably have already discarded all emotion and motherly instincts and have become complete sociopaths — perfect leaders.

Still, some are going to object to women leaders, wondering how are they going to balance handling national crisis with when their husband needs a sammich. That’s caveman thinking, people. It’s 2010 — the future — and we now have robots to help women multitask both leading a nation and feeding their husbands.

So get with the times and support your local lady Republicans. Democrats will always be the girly party, but we’re the party with the women.

  1. Good to see women doing well in the GOP. They are important if we want the conservative ideals to spread to more of the population, after all, women have tended to vote liberal in the past. I think the common sense and straight talk from conservative women like Palin, Chenney, etc., is having an effect. Let’s see what happens in November.

  2. “…we now have robots to help women multitask both leading a nation and feeding their husbands.”

As in sammich-making robots on dinosaurs? “Hey! Automated bitch on scales, bring me a sammich!”

  3. Funny hat for a moment. I personally am glad to see strong conserative women in the forefront. It also indicates a shift in females voting beyond “who will take care of me?” to “who’s best for the country?”. Liberals hate that. Any glance at the hate Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, Star Parker, and others have received gives us a look at what is in store for them, and the dark hearts of liberals. We need to keep an eye out.

That said, run a country and make a sammich? That’s why politicians have staffs, to run things while the sammiches get made.

  4. If you have an enemy outside the gates call the men. If you have enemies inside the city gates call the women!

Men (not raised surrounded by women) just aren’t motivated for the type of fighting it takes with domestic enemies.

Women train for this stuff from their earliest ages. When boys are bending and breaking things learning how they work the girls are learning how different vocal tones can have different effects on people.

  5. You’re in trouble when Mama gets fed up enough to say “I’ll just take care of it myself!” Well, that’s pretty much what’s happened in this country.

And BTW, a woman can lead a nation and make a sammich at the same time….while wearing stilettos. I don’t know where you got the idea it was one or the other 😉

  6. I live on a liberal island, Marko, and there is a definite shortage of conservative umen on this damn rock! Fortunately, the IMAO rock rocks with conservative umen, so I gotta pay attention to umen. Besides, it’s umen brains that are so interesting. More on my late night radio talkshow… on KJIM.

  7. #16 – RAML,
It’s true. I haven’t seen an intelligent, conservative woman yet who wasn’t also beautiful. But even Helen Thomas’ alternate universe conservative duplicate would pass as ‘grandmotherly’. It’s what on the inside that counts.
