I was gave a thought about an EV since I just don’t drive very much except locally for Doctors appointments and food shopping and the problem of where to “refuel” was the biggest deciding factor against. Also I couldn’t afford one and I didn’t want to look like an insufferable pr*ck also contributed.
I live in a semi-rural area, 75 miles to the nearest semi-major city. So a round trip is 150 miles. I also rent, with only street parking. Having an electric car would be worse than no car at all for me — I could use the money I spend on the car on alternate transportation that actually works.
If it won’t launch my boat, or pull my travel trailer, I want nothing to do with it.
