In my email in-box — not, mind you, in the spam folder — was an ad for a bathtub for “under $500!”
How demented do those scammers have to be to expect that I’d think, “Oy… Er… This sounds like a completely trustworthy company and offer”?
“They’ll deliver a bathtub to my house and install it for under $500? What could go wrong?”
“Let me just pull out my credit card and give ’em a ring.”
Does that price include soap?
And a special someone to lather you up?
Have to admit I tried to make it in sales for those but it didn’t last..we were washed up pretty quick..
It is a slippery business to get into.
