Friday Catblogging

Since it’s Friday, I thought I’d spread the joy of humor-free, apolitical Friday Catblogging to IMAO (aka “I-MEOW”).
Today, it’s Nardo the Odd…

If you’re not sure how this absurd scene pertains to IMAO, since IMAO is famous for that “political humor” thing, it doesn’t. If you must have some semblance of politics or humor in everything you read here, just assume that Nardo is… um…
Help me out here. Make your suggestions in the comments how this scene is, in fact, a political allegory.
(For more animal goodness, try Friday Ark today and Carnival of the Cats will be this upcoming Sunday, so send your catblogging links to submissions @ carnivalofthecats.com.)

  1. nardo is ted kennedy, and is thinking how much tequila he would need to make a nice “sunrise” using this much orange juice.
but then again, he is reluctant because of the health benefits of orange juice…

  2. Nardo is deeply pondering the political personification of an orange…
What do you get when a lot of Yellow mixes with slightly less Red?
What is practically the last thing you would ever want to mix with ketchup?
What should normally be found in Florida, reaching a ripe age?
What makes a real sticky mess when squeezed?
What rolls back and forth and is squishy?
What is frequently used in French cuisine, often as a garnish (i.e. nothing very substantive, but necessary for presentation’s sake)?
What turns you stomach when you’ve had too much of it for an extended period of time?
    Who else but John Kerry!

  3. the cat is all like, “Alioto!” because cats aren’t good at talking.
Unless you take them to Xanth. But then it would sound like “Mowliro”, because cats still aren’t good at talking.
