For all the talk about the Democrats having more enthusiasm than Republicans, Republican still seem to be quite a bit more focused. We know what we want — to win in Iraq and continue to kill terrorists — and McCain, though not a favorite of conservatives, is the perfect candidate to that goal. What do Democrats want? They don’t want President Bush, but he’ll be gone next year no matter who is elected. They want out of Iraq, but no one knows how to do that and they’re not dumb enough to do a sudden withdrawal even if things weren’t going well right now. They want a better economy, but the only idea for that so far is more taxes on the rich. Basically, they want hope and change and don’t have any solid ideas of what to do.
It looks like all these years of BDS has left them pretty clueless.

Considering their stances on taxes, defense, abortion,the economy, and gun rights,I would say that they have ALWAYS been clueless…at least for the last 60 years or so…

Jimmy, McCain will wipe the floor even better with Hillary than Obama. He may be a greenhorn but she is viewed by many to be Lucifer’s trophy wife. Hillary Clinton can win California, New York, Oregon, Vermont and Massachusetts (assuming Mitt Romney isn’t the VP nominee) and maybe, possibly Arkansas, but that’s as far as it will go.
She’s gonna have trouble in Washington State, Wisconsin, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Michigan (especially if Mitt Romney is the VP Nominee), Colorado (a must-have state the Dem nominee will need to peel away from the Republicans), and Florida (another must-have for the Dem).
Hillary Clinton is a lot like George McClellan, the civil war general. Robert E. Lee once said “…we have a single advantage in our favor, but it is an important one. McClellan has brought superior forces to the field. But he has also brought himself.” Hillary Clinton has too many negatives to win a nationwide election.
Rush had the best take EVER on his show this morning. Obama and Clinton are now mired in a quagmire and a civil war which is destroying America’s image abroad with Canada, etc. and they owe the nation a time table for with drawl from the race! He’s the best!

Rush just said that the Republican Party won’t attack Obama. Translated: the Republican Party won’t attack the biggest socialist to ever run for President. Is THAT what the Republican Party now stands for?
In other words, Republicans are going to win by “maneuvering.” No ideological battles. No principles. No advocacy for the Constitution.
First, Republican Conservatives can’t get the nominee they want. And then, apparently, the Republican Party is is afraid of fighting Obama and wishes to win by default on “Clinton’s negatives.” Oh, really?!

Are they afraid of being called racist? Too late, they call all conservatives that already!
As for Rush, he is just telling it like it is. The GOP doesn’t seem to be in possession of any gonads these days. They have been totally cowed by the bullshit of political correctness. When are they going to learn not to feel guilty about slavery or race relations from decades ago? Get a clue, blacks can sit anywhere on the bus these days and there aren’t separate drinking fountains, or side entrances.
The Republican Party has lost it’s balls! It has no leadership and GW is to blame. He has been too interested in getting along with Teddy Kennedy (Education & Immigration Reform). Now we are stuck with another liberal nominee! I am no longer a Republican. I’m just a conservative who is not excited about this election!
I say that McCain needs a “Conservative education” from people like former Senators Alan Simpson of Wyoming, Fred Thompson of Tennessee and others. And people like Rush Limbaugh need a testosterone shot.
