Foreign Policy for Beginners

I don’t get Obama and Honduras. Why would we want to prop up some guy who’s trying to become a dictator against American interests? I could see some real warmongering president doing that because he wanted more challenges, but Obama doesn’t need more challenges. In fact, he needs like the bunny slope of foreign policy. Like maybe Canada doesn’t like how we make fun of hockey or Jamaica demands more steel drums or Belgium is scared and needs a hug… that sort of thing. If he screws up, worst we get is cut off from maple syrup exports. Right now, he’s dealing with Iran and North Korea where if he screws up someone gets nuked. That’s not fair to him or us.

How about he let’s Cheney take over the hard stuff while he’s still on the training wheels. I think it would work well for him. Anytime something goes wrong, he can say, “That’s that bad Cheney!” I think he’s already starting to miss blaming things on the Bush administration, so he will probably really like that. And we all don’t get nuked. Everyone’s happy.

  1. He’s a narcissistic disgrace who feels the need to go against the grain so he doesn’t look like a “typical American President”.

Or it might be because he’s part of the worldwide communist conspiracy.

Not sure which is more likely.

  2. He has to watch out for his fellow pinko-commie buddy and join all the looney lefty politicians empty critisizm contests. I hope Hondo has enough gumption to stick with their guns and keep that rat out of their country for good. I bet Slowbaba will give him asylum and play xbox games with him here.

  3. The only problem with your plan Frank is that it would give Obama more time to focus on the domestic stuff. That would probably lead to us getting a new special tax that charges us every time we flush the toilet.

  4. Honduras makes a lot of textiles and trades quite a bit with us. I’ve read that Yugo Chavez sends significant amounts of Venezuelan cocaine first to Honduras because it is easier to move Honduran goods into the US.

Prez Obeyme is just PO’d that without a Chavez crony in place, the cost of his cola is about to skyrocket.

  5. How about whenever we write anything about the Prez/dictator for life, we say that Obama Madoff with all our money, or Obama Madoff with our healthcare, or something, so that the two are forever linked in everyone’s mind, since Obambi is making Madoff look like a rank amatuer at stealing everything.

    Just a thought.

  6. “I don’t get Obama and Honduras. Why would we want to prop up some guy who’s trying to become a dictator against American interests?”

Let’s review: He’s throwing his support behind “Some guy who’s trying to become a dictator against America’s interests”…and that doesn’t have a hint of deja vu?

  7. “I don’t get Obama and Honduras. Why would we want to prop up some guy who’s trying to become a dictator against American interests?”

Cuz Obie wants to see how it’s done and make it happen here.
After all, he’s already halfway there by being against American interests.

  8. So when Iranians are risking death in the streets for freedom he doesn’t want to meddle but when a hard line leftist wants to be president for life there is a principle involved and we must back him. Nice.

  9. “In fact, he needs like the bunny slope of foreign policy. Like maybe Canada doesn’t like how we make fun of hockey or Jamaica demands more steel drums or Belgium is scared and needs a hug… that sort of thing.”

No, dealing with the Maplebacks, the Rastas, and the Belch requires a type of diplomacy that Obama does not possess. Hell, he would make an enemy out of Greenland if he could ever find it on a map. In fact, when he found out that Greenland was 95% covered with ice, he would campaign to have it melted to conform to his global warming expectations.
