Hitler vs Xtranormal.com

For some time, the Hitler parodies have been making the rounds on the Internet.

But, lately, more and more people are making movies using Xtranormal.com. Fox News Channel’s Red Eye has featured Xtranormal.com movies as a regular feature, Red Eye Robot Theatre.

At IMAO, Harvey has been running reader-created videos for some time.

Now, Xtranormal.com movies are more popular than … Hitler. Who would have figured. Certain not Der Fuhrer:

  1. wow that was great. i love those hitler vid’s. but im going to stick with xtranormal for now.

[Thanks. And I’ve really enjoyed IMAO Reader Theatre. And, lolterizt. And lolbama. Harvey knows I just went for the cheap joke. – B.]

  2. Wow. Every Hitler clip so far seems to out-do the last. This one was over the top. Loved it!
And I love the Robot Theatre clips too.

Yes, I spell it theatre because I’m just better than you and yes I still can’t hear you over the sound of how awesome I am.

  3. Wow! Until the money-line at the end, this bit was shaping up to by my second favourite (note spelling) Hitler parody. The “lotion” bit pushed it way, way over the top. Kudos.

Just wondering…if Hitler made a parody of this parody, would we hit some sort of infinite parody recursion?

  4. Darn it, I get no credit for this whole thing on IMAO.
If I hadn’t been bored one night and decided to try to make my own ripoff of Robot Theater, and then submitted it to Harvey, he would never have gotten credit for creating IMAO Reader Theater, and in turn, gets Basil doing a Hitler video mocking it.

The first thief never gets a break – Oh wait…

  5. Hey! *I* own a cat too!

Ya know, the hardest thing to do in a Downfall parody is to make the length of the text approximately match the length of the spoken dialogue.

I’m probably the only one who noticed that, but I just love the way that Basil always nails down the details in his work.

    Best. Downfall. Parody. Ever.

[Truth be told, I have a cat, too. Actually, Wife has a cat. But I have to feed it.

And, thanks for the kind words. They are much appreciated. – B.]
