The Left Respects Christians, Looks Down on Muslims

So one guy out of the six or seven billion in the world burns a Koran and people in the Middle East spend days murdering. Some people are blaming the guy who burned a Koran, as if killing twenty people is an appropriate response to a book being burned. What’s interesting about this is that illustrates that, despite the animosity of the left toward’s Christians, the left considers Christians to be fellow human beings while they don’t feel the same way about Muslims in the Middle East.

Let’s say someone in the Middle East burnt a bible and then Christians rioted in America and killed people — would left for one second think to blame the guy who burned the bible? No, they’d blame the Christians for the violence because they expect Christians to behave like human beings who understand their is no justification for murder. But look at how many are focusing on Terry Jones who burnt a Koran rather than the murderers. That’s because many on the left see Muslims not as fellow human beings, but as subhuman animals who can’t be held responsible for their violent reactions. It’s like if you provoked a gorilla and it attacked people, it’s your fault because you can’t expect a gorilla to know right from wrong.

And that is the choice: Either the Muslims in the Middle East made their own choice to be murderers and are solely responsible for their actions, or they’re less than human. It will be useful in our dealings over there if we all agree on one of those.

  1. Good one !!! Of course some of this is that the libbies can’t keep anything straight. Crazy left wing pot smoker shoots a congresswoamn, blame the right. Crazy muslims riot, blame Christians. Obam is down in the polls, blame Booosh.

  2. In an interview with Chuck Todd this morning a Muslim said that the difference is that the Koran was dictated to Mohammad directly by God, but the Bible was just written down by a bunch of different people. So their book is Holy and ours is not. Of course Chucky didn’t have a response… I wish I had been the interviewer! I might have suggested the “Not one jot or tittle” passage suggesting that the Bible was indeed written by God through inspiration of the Holy Spirit! Man could not have written the Bible. It doesn’t make sense to sinful man!

  3. If I must make a choice between the two categories ‘murderers that are solely responsible for their actions’ or ‘they’re less than human’ I’ll go with less than human every time..

  4. I may lose my position as the self appointed IMAO theologian but…Terry Jones is an idiot. It was a pure publicity stunt. Did the Word of God get spread? Did anyone come to saving faith in Jesus Christ? Was anyone converted, baptized, delivered, filled with the Holy Spirit, confirmed or sprinkled? Nooo. When the Ephesians converted after hearing the message of the Apostle Paul they voluntarly burned their mystical texts. St. Paul didn’t start a fire first to gather interest. He preached Christ crucified! That doesn’t relieve those savages from their responsability for murder. Grandpa said “If you know the dog bites, don’t poke it.” Grandpa also said a dog that bites ought to be put down.

  5. Why are we wasting the blood and treasury of this great nation fighting the MOOSLIMS?? All we need to do is burn a koran each day and BAM! they’ll terminate twenty or thirty of their own. I say bring out the big guns, you know a jar with pig urine and … BAM!! two or three thousand poof.

  6. Hey-oh, Ed. I agree that Jones is worse than an idiot. Not only is it unlikely that anyone might be saved as a result of his stunt, but it is likely that some unsaved folks have been put off by his actions. That is a weight that I would not wish on an enemy. However, as you say, the murderers are solely responsible for their own actions. Frank is just pointing out that liberals are responsible for a double standard they cannot begin to perceive.

  7. Off topic….Not only did the Obama Administration have to eat a big s**t sandwich concerning the trials of the 9-11 terrorists, but they even sent Eric Holder out to take the first bite, thereby proving that Barak Obama DOES have a sense of humor even if he is a Muslim with no birth certificate.

  8. The difference between nutty Muslims, liberals, and normal people is quite striking.

Bob the normal person says, “Hey, that Terry Jones guy is a real idiot.”
Tony the normal person says, “Yup. He sure is. Bob, do you know what the cafeteria’s serving for lunch?”
Bob the normal person says, “Pizza. I love pizza!”

Meanwhile, the nutty Muslim murders several random people. The liberal bans pepperoni.

My friends, choose your side wisely.

  9. @ EdthePastor and Burmashave,

While Terry Jones may well be an idiot, he stated the reason why he was burning bibles was because the Muslim religion is not a “religion of peace,” as Muslims and the left-wing media claim they are. To that end, after witnessing the past few days following the burning of one stupid Koran, I don’t think there’s any logical human being that could still continue to espouse that they are in any way a “religion of peace.”

The other thing that was clearly pointed out was that you can’t equate Christianity with Islam, as leftists love to do as an attempt to dissuade Americans from belief in Christianity. We do not see Christians rioting and murdering in the streets, even after the real insults to Christianity we are forced to endure right here in the United States on a daily basis, and anyone even casually following this news story could clearly see how different Muslims react than their Christian neighbors.

So, whether or not he is an idiot, the one simple act of burning one stupid Koran gave many Americans a good look at Muslims in their natural element.

  10. I believe it’s in New York (where else?) there is some “artist” who has paintings of a Palin on a cross and nasty words on a crucifix. Can I start rioting now? Terry Jones pulled a screwball stunt, but the muzzies made his point. I hate it when one moron proves another moron’s point. Like the entire line up at pmsnbc.

  11. Well obviously, we are too backward and dangerous to have such a precious trinket in our midst. The obvious solution then is to simply ban the koran so it can’tbe burned. Problem solved.

How fragile and flimsy must your religion be if symbology of one of millions of copies being burned damages it somehow. Burn all the bibles you want, clamp down on Christians all you want, and Christianity will survive. The spirit of God apparently lives in the hearts and minds of Christians, while it only resides in ink and paper for muslims. Makes you wonder what resides in their hearts and minds instead…

  12. On some deep level the leftists must greatly fear that Christians and Muslims will get together and go all old testament. You know like how we all secretly thank our lucky stars that Americas marxists for now are mostly anti-gun.

(note I use this common refrain while acknowledging that if you read the old and new testament they are not as commonly portrayed (but then what is?))

  13. The problem with rioting is rarely their unjustness simply that enraged mobs are worse then a blind man playing pin the tail when it comes to attacking the guilty parties. Its always the innocent bystanders who get attacked.

Note I mean actual innocent bystanders not “some dude” or “SOPMOBS”. Example: “Sittin on porch mindin own business” when “some dude” just started shooting.

  14. Shiggz, thats what your president always says: I was just sitting on da poach mindin mah own bidness, when some dude started shooting. So I says to Sasquatch, I says, honay, weez gots to go to Rio and get away from dis dude shootin. I is thinkin mebbe some dud burdt that koo ran, is why day b shootin? We’s gots to gits to Rio baby! Fire up Air force One baby we b goin.

  15. Ed the Pastor, (#7) made reference to the burning of mystical texts by the Ephesians.
    (Acts 19:19-20)
    I completely agree.
But Terry Jones reminds me more of the 7 sons of Sceva (Acts 19:13-14), invoking the name of Christ without understanding his power.
Ironically those who didn’t listen to the testimony of those who loved Jesus were finally convinced by the testimony of an evil spirit. (Acts 19:15-17)
“Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”
