  1. I lived in Newport Beach for many years. It is one of the few conservative outposts in California. They have a statue of Reagan, and the only protest I ever saw there was in support of President Bush with a bunch of guys waving big American flags by the mall. John Wayne called it home and is buried there. I often cruised my boat by Dukes Point which is a nautical shrine to John Wayne.

This sticker is the norm for Newport Beach. At least for now. More LA folks are starting to move in so they may bring in the liberal influence at some point.

  2. Obama is punting this election. He is already buying his retirement home in Hawaii. Egypt, Syria and Iran are going to attack Isreal together. They want a Republican in office when that happens. Do you really think all the Democrats on TV were caught off guard by the question “Are people better off now than 4 years ago?”

  3. That is an interesting point Zach. I hadn’t gotten there yet. I can see where that would explain the “ones” lackluster performance and Hilliary’s distancing herself from not just Obama but from the Democrats in general.

Kind of make you say, hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Now if we could just get Biden on record saying it. That would be an early Christmas present. Maybe one of our investigative journalist could ask Uncle Joe a leading question and then sit back and enjoy the ride. DO IT.

  4. I don’t know…I moved about a year ago from one part of L.A. to another…I’ve sent in 3 voter registrations in the past year to register Republican at my new address and somehow, I’m still not registered. Furthermore, after my first voter registration went in, I’m no longer registered at my OLD address either. When I call the registrar’s office they just say “it probably just got lost in the mail”…of course if it got lost in the mail, how did they know to remove my registration at my OLD address?

I think there’s plenty of people who don’t like Obama in Commiefornia, I just don’t think that come November, any of their votes will be counted.
