Sometimes the talking heads let the secret slip out.
When they say ‘America’ they really mean ‘Washington’.
Therefore if you hate the whole Washington cronyism system, if you don’t trust Federal politicians and bureaucrats, their knee-jerk reaction is to call you ‘Un-patriotic’ or ‘Un-American’.
I’m firmly convinced that American could do just fine without Washington, but Washington wouldn’t last a day without America.
Of course, sometimes it’s even worse.
That’s when they say ‘America’ but really mean ‘Obama’.
