Queenstown New Zealand is also where they invented bungee jumping off of bridges. They are more than a little crazy on the South Island.
Bungee jumping? So that’s how Gandalf survived.
Been there. Done that. Had trouble avoiding the middle aged female Asian tourists who kept their brakes on and were screaming along at about 3 MPH. I don’t remember the concrete median back when. Perhaps the right lane is for the Creeping Thunder crowd.
The bungee jump is another story….
