I had mixed feelings about this.
It was delightful to not have to sit through the awkwardness of watching teddy bears kill men in space armor, but it also brought home how terrible George Lucas is at writing expository dialogue.
For me, though, being 99% Ewok-free wins out.

Now substitute “men” and “women” or “whites” and “blacks” for “people” and “robots”, and it becomes pretty obvious that eventually a robot will take your job because of a liberal affirmative action program.
