I never expect anything to be watchable for 9 minutes (you wouldn’t believe how many videos I don’t post because I’m bored after 60 seconds or less), but this held my interest.
This video makes “bullet through an apple” look like a Roadrunner blur.

You can see the individual molecules moving if you turn it up to HD & squint.
About the difference in European and US Pyrex: Corning sold the Pyrex brand name in 1998 and I think whoever bought it changed the formula (or it was different already according to an article on snopes.com).
(Oh, BTW, the “American version” is stronger.)
FYI: Glass is generally tempered with air; even room temperature oil will shatter glass rods that have been heated unless you let them cool a bit first—I shattered several to get a demo for Engineering Week and then we went with something else.
