President Trump signed executive orders on immigration that vastly expanded the authority of immigration officers to detain and deport illegal immigrants.
Democrats are outraged, saying deportation should only be used as a punishment for those who didn’t vote for Hillary.
Even the local “news” channels spend most of their time talking about the “ban”. Nor are they mentioning the word “temporary” or “90 day” with it. They are also failing to mention Obama banning immigrants from Iraq for 6 months in 2011.
I searched all over trying to find Trump or Spicer commenting on the benefits of the ban. All I could find were out-of-context snippets – buried around paragraph 27or so.
But on the bright side, liberals are sad, and they can’t do anything about it for 4 years.
Hopefully 4. We’ll find out during the mid-term elections in a couple years.

Only real time to be worried about something Trump does is when it gets quiet on the Left…too quiet.

Prior to this, they could only harass and detain citizens.
The funny part, for me, is that they would deport me back to the country my grandparents came from.
