The article strives mightily to equate illegal immigration with the fear of its consequences, and I agree — the two are similar, linked, and even interchangeable.
The article says “that fear has become ‘constant. It is aggressive. It is invasive, and it is interrupting our process of public education’. ”
That’s true of illegal immigration, which causes — as the article admits — all this fear. I’m surprised a liberal newspaper admits it.

If anything, a big part of the reason these treasonous scum bags do this crap is to ENSURE that the “education process” is as interrupted as possible. Dumbing down the country is getting easier every year and how dare anyone try and stop it. Hillary lost, people are still not stupid enough!
I believe bank robbery is a federal crime, why is it the local cops respond to bank robberies? Shouldn’t the 911 operator just say, sorry, call the FBI, it’s not our job?

Perhaps ICE should arrest some of these school administrators and elected officials and hold them until the illegals voluntarily turn themselves in. Could work even if it doesn’t. *wink*wink*
