Margaret Hamilton, who portrayed the Wicked Witch of the West in the movie “The Wizard of Oz” (think of her as an understudy for Hillary Clinton), was born December 9, 1902, in Cleveland, Ohio (there’s a Cleveland in Tennessee, as well). Wear your ruby slippers today. I’ll certainly be wearing mine.
The parodies are great, but some of Weird Al’s best stuff is his own. Try “This is the Life” (theme for the movie ‘Johnny Dangerously’) or “Midnight Star”….
