You gamer people — no, I’m not one — understand what “up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A” means, right? Even I — remember, I don’t do that whole video game thing — know what it is. Or at least have an idea.
Where did it come from? Well, you gamers probably know. I didn’t. But now I do.
Is there something you’d like to share with the group? It’s Wednesday Night Open Thread, and you get to choose the topic.
What’s on your mind?

If you could read my mind,
what a tale my thoughts would tell…
Gaming is cancer. IMAO (In My Awesome Opinion)
That’s the code to turn off the newsletter popup, right?
There is not enough bacon in the world for this comment.
John James Audubon, the ornithologist who produced such beautiful paintings of American birds, was born April 26, 1785, in Les Cayes, Haiti.
I remember the trauma when I first learned, as a very tender-hearted child, that those paintings were all of dead birds that had been killed, stuffed, and mounted so that they could be painted more easily. I would have joined PETA, if there had been such a thing. (I’m pretty sure most PETA members are at the same level of emotional maturity – in fact, most liberals I have met are. That’s mean! That’s not fair! That hurts my feelings!)
The newsletter is really an innocuous thing. A very occasional email that you don’t have to read, but it is from FrankJFreakingFleming so why not just read it. I signed up and the popup magically disappeared by the way.
I signed up but still get the pop up what gives? And how do we know it is actually from this Frank fellow? It could be from some nefarious liberal using the name as cover for their nefarious plots and nefarious schemes. Nefariously.
