  1. Well, except for the terrorism of people who think the Constitution means something.

It’s not funny that our fine betters won’t call actual terrorists ‘terrorist’ but will call normal Americans such.
    But it is.

    • Firefighters Called ‘Terrorists’ For Putting American Flag On Truck
      Daily Caller | June 2, 2016 | Peter Hasson

A Rhode Island city official called the city’s firefighters “terrorists” and compared them to ISIS for putting an American flag on their firetruck. The firefighters say they have been told to remove the flag by city officials.

A local NBC affiliate obtained audio of Central Coventry Fire District Chairman Fred Gralinski making the comparison at a board meeting.

“They look like a bunch of yahoos,” Gralinski said. “Like in the paper, like ISIS in Syria going to take over a city. I don’t think they need that big flag on the back of the truck. That’s not America to me. Those are a bunch of terrorists. So, I’m going to ask you to take the flag off that truck.”

Governor Of Connecticut Says “NRA Has Become A Terrorist Organization”
      Daily Caller | March 7, 2018 | Henry Rodgers

Connecticut’s governor called the National Rifle Association (NRA) a terrorist organization in an interview Tuesday. Gov. Dannel Malloy, a Democrat, also said his state would “boycott” the NRA and said the organization has been acting like a “terrorist organization,” in an interview with Fox61. He also believes the NRA has changed throughout the past 20 years. “They act, quite frankly, in some cases as a terrorist organization,” Malloy said. “You want to make safer guns? We will boycott your company. That’s who they are. That’s what they do.”

    • With 3 ‘Hops,’ NSA Gets Millions Of Phone Records
      NPR.org | July 31, 2013

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama’s national security team acknowledged for the first time Wednesday that, when investigating one suspected terrorist, it can read and store the phone records of millions of Americans.

Since it was revealed recently that the National Security Agency puts the phone records of every American into a database, the Obama administration has assured the nation that such records are rarely searched and, when they are, officials target only suspected international terrorists.

      .

“John Inglis, the NSA’s deputy director, conceded the point but said NSA officials “try to be judicious” about conducting hop analysis. “And so while, theoretically, 40 times 40 times 40 gets you to a large number, that’s not typically what takes place,” he said. “We have to compare the theory to the practice.”

Maxine Waters: “Obama Has Put In Place” A Secret Database With “Everything On Everyone” (Video)

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) told Roland Martin in a February interview,
“Obama has put in place the kind of database… will have everything on every individual.”

“The President has put in place an organization with the kind of database that no one has ever seen before in life,” Representative Maxine Waters told Roland Martin on Monday.

“That’s going to be very, very powerful,” Waters said. “That database will have information about everything on every individual on ways that it’s never been done before and whoever runs for President on the Democratic ticket has to deal with that. They’re going to go down with that database and the concerns of those people because they can’t get around it. And he’s [President Obama] been very smart. It’s very powerful what he’s leaving in place.”

NYT: ‘No Single Reason’ Terrorist Attacked In NYC
    Daily Caller | 11/2/17 | Anders Hogstrom

The New York Times claimed there was “no single reason” for Sayfullo Saipov’s decision to drive a truck into more than 20 people in New York City Tuesday. TheNYT attributed his attack more to a lack of opportunity and financial trouble in a Wednesday profile of the terrorist, even though Saipov yelled “Allahu Akbar” while being apprehended by police and had a note pledging allegiance to the Islamic State.

  3. AP Stylebook Instructs Writers Not to Use Words Like ‘Pro-Life,’ ‘Refugee’ & ‘Terrorist’
    Fox News Insider | 7/11/2017

The AP Stylebook, published by The Associated Press, is intended to provide universal guidelines for journalists when it comes to stylistic things like punctuation, capitalization and using certain words over others.

The 2017 edition of the stylebook directs writers to avoid words like “pro-life,” “migrant,” “refugee,” “Islamist” and “terrorist.”

Rachel Alexander, an opinion contributor for The Hill, said on “Fox & Friends” this morning that this is an attempt to promote language that liberals tend to favor.

She explained that the guide instructs writers to use “anti-abortion” instead of “pro-life,”
“people struggling to enter Europe” instead of “migrant” or “refugee,” and
“militant,” “lone wolf” or “attacker” instead of “terrorist” or “Islamist.”

She said if authors do not adhere to that style when they submit an article to a mainstream media outlet, they will likely see their words edited to conform. “The mainstream media claims that it’s not biased, but it’s got this bias built into its own words,” Alexander said. “And we’re seeing these words increasingly scrubbed from news articles and replaced by politically correct words instead.”

A paean to the media —
and may they get a swift and sharp paean
right in their [withheld for moderation, and redundant] asses:

    . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

    Oh, see, can you say
    By the light’s early dawning
    What the proud jihadi hailed
    At the twilight’s last gleaming?

Whose “Broad Strokes” and “Don’t Tar’s”
    Through the perilous fight
    O’er the camera we watched
    Were so gallantly streaming?

    And the network’s dread bearer
    Of bombs bursting in terror
    Claimed proof, through a smile,
That our flag was in error.

O say does that star-strangled approval you crave
Mean so much more to you creeps than the hopes of the brave?
