  1. /nerd alert… somewhere they established that the Falcon’s holds were “screened” against those kinds of sensors. Which makes sense; you’d want something to help you hide your smuggling compartments…

  2. The Last Jedi put a gaping hole in ALL Star Wars movies. Prior to that one, it was plausible that entering “hyperspace” meant leaving this universe, hence collisions with objects in this universe and something in hyperspace didn’t happen. But apparently, that is not the case, as a collision between a small cruiser running on hyperdrive, and the big, bad enemy flagship destroys the enormous flag ship.

So, um, we need a volunteer to point their fighter/transport/whatever would be big enough at the death star and engage hyperdrive in order to save the rebellion. Or, you can all try to maneuver along this small trench, and drop a proton torpedo into this small exhaust port.

    Boom.

Or a small missile with a hyperdrive would take out a star destroyer.

Apparently, everyone prior to whatever her name was on the cruiser was too stupid to think of that.

  3. “Or a small missile with a hyperdrive would take out a star destroyer.”

My thoughts exactly. Hell, just use a big rock with a hyperdrive.. [see ‘The Moon is a harsh Mistress’]
