Ted Kennedy? They called him the Lion because he was running away from the scene of the crime as fast as one.
In that case they should have called him the Cheetah of the Senate.
It was just a misspelling, it should have been “Lyin’ of the Senate”.
Male lions just laze about and let the women do all the hunting. Sounds Kennedyesque.
