There’s a Thai place called Thai Chili2go by where I work.
They have a dish called Spicy Basil that I want to try but I don’t know how to pronounce it
They don’t have numbers and I hate mispronouncing names in ethnic restaurants.
Pronounce it ‘basil” not “Basil.”
So it’s the capitalization that matters, eh?

Maybe. Do they start a sentence? Nouns are different, right? Trying to remember… that applies to proper nouns only IIRC. Don’t remember the teachers emphasizing pronunciation thought. I was an inattentive student back then but I got better.
Stop appropriating other people’s cultures like the White Supremacist you are and just eat White food, like…well, whatever the heck white people ate when they were living in Whiteland before they colonized and enslaved the world.
