Saturday Night Hootenanny

Two winners from last week only because of our damn spam filter problems but what the heck, a win is a win amirite?

Congrats to multiple winner Les and first time OGE. TEC.

Let us see if I can beat you all and win an OGE for myself. From now on I’m awarding myself an OGE if a stump everyone.

To the music!

  1. I’m not going to hesitate in submitting this time, in case it gets lost in the spam folder again. Sorry, can’t let you collect a nugget this time, KKKCH.

    Winner winner, emu dinner!

From the Talking Heads, who were robbed, to Snoop Dogg, with 17 nominations, not one of the artists has taken home a gilded gramophone — a Grammy Award.

    • And yeah, they start on the right foot when marching; they’re British.

And if you want the whole nine yards, search for “Trooping the Colour” or “Queen’s Birthday.”

The fun stuff is “Last Night the Proms,” etc.

  2. They all made an album without their makeup in the early 80’s but by that time their original drummer and lead guitarist had already left the band so it kind of made no sense and was anticlimactic.

  3. They all kicked out a band member because they thought that was the problem but it was really the rest of the band all along.

Wait, maybe not, if that were the case then Van Halen would be in this lineup.

  4. They all had record company contracts made to exclude the bassist and drummer because the singer thought those guys were easily replaceable and the guitarist had no loyalty to those guys so he just kind of went along with it.

  5. They all have a singer with really big badonkadonks that sings pop songs with catchy tunes but then she goes yammering on about politics and you realize how clueless she really is and it’s a shame because she’s hot and has really big badonkadonks.

  6. They all had a lead singer who wore a really a big suit on stage but it made sense for them (see what I did there?) because they were kind of “off” anyway, if you know what I mean. And they wrote songs that were politically ambiguous that could be interpreted any way you wanted or not at all.
