Police: Estimated 2 Million Dimes Stolen From Truck in Northeast Philadelphia
6ABC | 13 April 2023PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Police are investigating after someone broke into a trailer containing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of dimes in Northeast Philadelphia.
The discovery was made around 6 a.m. Thursday in a Walmart parking lot on the 4300 block of Byberry Road.
Police on the scene say an estimated two million dimes, worth $200,000, were stolen. That’s an increase from an earlier estimate of one million dimes.
Surely, one of the gang is going to drop one.
“Now, we gotta lay low. Nobody go out and buy a Cadillac with dimes.”
