Refusing To Legally Define the Word ‘Woman’ Is the Biggest Cop-Out Ever

In the bizarre case of sorority sisters from the University of Wyoming suing to block a trans woman, Artemis Langford, from joining Kappa Kappa Gamma, the legal authority punted on telling a universal truth. Judge Alan Johnson tossed the suit, saying the sorority doesn’t explicitly define a woman, so he won’t step into the morass.

“With its inquiry beginning and ending there, the court will not define a ‘woman’ today,” Johnson wrote.

After three years of being lectured to by the “trust the science” crowd, we’re suddenly at a loss to crystalize an irrefutable biological fact. Suddenly, no consensus can be found.

“The judge simply dismissed the case because he said it isn’t up to a Federal court to render any decision on the membership rules for a private organization like a sorority. {Since freaking when? Ever hear of the Boy Scouts or the YMCA?} He basically said a “woman” is whatever the hell the leaders of this sorority say it is.”

and . . .

“So then, if I post a sign on the door of my business saying: “No Women Allowed”, legally I am fine, as long as I don’t try to define “women.” Right?”

White House Punts on ‘Yes or No Answer’ to Transgender Athletes Playing Female Sports

The White House said Tuesday that “there is no yes or no answer” when asked whether it is fair that transgender athletes take part in sports designated for biological females — an issue the Biden administration labeled as a “complicated” and one that contains a “wide range of views.”

“So, we’ve talked about this many times. This is the Title [IX], specifically. Look, and again, we’ve talked about this multiple times. It’s a complicated issue, and there are a wide range of views on this. The Department of Education proposed a rule, as you know, that gives schools the flexibility to establish their own athletics policies, and so while establishing guardrails, right, to prevent discrimination against transgender kids,” Jean-Pierre said. “That is something that is incredibly important, that the president wants to make sure that we also do that as well. So, I’m just not going to get ahead of that.” …
