The Inevitable EV Implosion

The electric vehicle honeymoon is over. Don’t expect the marriage itself to last much longer either.

The mass conversion from internal combustion engine vehicles (ICEs) to electric vehicles was never more than a Democrat/environmentalist hallucination anyway. It was the most ill-conceived government policy objective in modern history.

The transition should have been a non-starter. It’s riddled with numerous deal killers. It’s like having a dozen fatal diseases all at the same time.

Any goal as massive as a total conversion from ICE vehicles to EVs requires careful planning and infrastructure preparation. It would necessitate a rapid doubling of electricity generation and grid expansion. In today’s world that’s impossible.

EV promoters could never deliver on their promises. Their grandiose assurances were nothing more than wishful thinking.

There was no market research. Hmm — I wonder why. There were no feasibility studies. Hmm — I wonder why. Did they actually believe everyone would tolerate spending hours to charge their vehicles rather than the minutes they were accustomed to?

Car dealers are resisting further deliveries of EVs because of swelling inventories. Avis and Hertz can’t even get people to rent EVs! Yet, manufacturers are ramping up production just as consumers are balking. Something will have to give, and soon. EV makers and their shareholders will tire of pouring money down a rathole.

… In a letter to Montgomery College President Dr. Jermaine F. Williams the OCR [Office for Civil Rights] also said: ‘After removing their shirts, [students] put on their lab jackets for modesty purposes, but the Professor demanded that they remove their jackets.

‘The Professor also commented on students’ nipples and breast positioning and asked the students to separate their breasts so they could conduct the assessment.’

The OCR did not make clear what ‘medical demonstration’ the professor was conducting but stated that it ‘did not require the clothing removal, or the bodily commentary’.

This really dull news item got me thinking about consequences.

Other than Hitler, Mussolini, and perhaps (tragically) Churchill, few WW2 leaders (apart from a few French Nazi-collaborators) suffered consequences for their actions. Oh, and some countries lost warlords, because they were already in chaos. But I’m talking here about leaders of governments — not admirals, generals, lieutenants, and whatnot.

He kept pushing for more overt Irish assistance, and in April 1945, with Allied victory clearly only days away, he demanded that the German Legation in Dublin be handed over to him. Which is what led to his greatest error of the entire war. When news came through on 2 May 1945 that Hitler was dead, de Valera called on the German Minister, Eduard Hempel, “to offer condolences” on his death. 

So, that’s what got me thinking that country leaders, like Ireland’s, can do whatever they feel like during a crisis, and face no consequences. Must be nice.

That dude in Spain during the war just shrugged his shoulders and said, “Eh.” Like the self-abdicated king of Britain. Oh, well. “Meh.”

She should lay back and take it easy.

A Virginia Democratic candidate running for the commonwealth’s House of Delegates is being accused of performing sex acts with her husband in front of an online audience and encouraging viewers to send them “tip” money.

Umm, did she not realize that the internet tends to distribute things?

Gibson reportedly violated Chaturbate’s terms and conditions by soliciting tips in order to perform specific sex acts and could be seen on video telling viewers that she was raising money for a “good cause.”

Gibson is said to have told viewers that she will perform specific sex acts in a “private room” if viewers pay her more “tokens.”

Gibson’s campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

Gibson told The Washington Post that the incident represents an “an illegal invasion of my privacy designed to humiliate me and my family.”
