I can’t stand that overwrought, shrieking version of the Everly Brothers tune. It’s a simple, pretty tune, and repositioning it as a power ballad was ridiculous.

Um, while that song received extensive FM airplay in the ’70s, and is still their most-played song today, it was the B-side to “Love Hurts” and never officially charted.
