Friday Catblogging

Since it’s Friday, I thought I’d spread the joy of humor-free, apolitical Friday Catblogging to IMAO (aka “I-MEOW”).
Sure, some of the IMAO bloggers have cats, but apparently I’m the only one of them drunk enough to think someone might remotely find this kind of thing interesting. I can quit any time! Don’t pressure me! I’m chewing that special Stop Drinking gum stuff for it, man!
Anyway, it’s time for Edloe the Shy:

If you’re not sure how this absurd scene pertains to IMAO, since IMAO is famous for that “political humor” thing, it doesn’t. If you must have some semblance of politics or humor in everything you read here, just assume that Edloe is… um…
Help me out here. Make your suggestions in the comments how this scene is, in fact, a political allegory.
(For more animal goodness, try Friday Ark today and Carnival of the Cats Sunday, so send your catblogging links to submissions @ carnivalofthecats.com.)

You can find more examples of Friday catblogging by searching a blog search engine such as Technorati for “catblogging.”
You can also find a roundup of catblogging posts at The Friday Ark, located at The Modulator blog. Then, when the weekend is nearly over, head over to The Carnival of the Catsat IMAO for more kitty goodness. There’s also a Flikr Group called Furry Friday.
Add to that Weekend Catblogging at Eatstuff.
Anybody I miss?

  1. Edloe recoiled in horror as he inadvertently walked in on Senator Clinton changing in the Senate cloak room, temporarily blinded by her gleaming carapace, which was not yet fully covered by her animatronic human disguise.

  2. Edloe reacts to the vote on the House floor to continue to restrict offshore drilling by American Companies. He and any and all Republican Congressmen who voted to restrict should hide their faces and hope no one prints off a list of their names.
Otherwise they may be doing the jobs that illegal aliens won’t do…. in Mexico.
Let’s get a nice big bus and expatriate them all. Bah hhaaaaaaaaaaa (chortle, chortle, chortle)

  3. This just in, couple arrested for asking directions Baltimore city Police PR rep. Eldoe on the cities new send a tourist to jail contest. The cities police department hopes to jail thousands of lost, frightened tourist by the end of the summer. “That’ll teach those stupid tourists we don’t want their kind here, spending money and supporting the local economy.”
The upside is the police left the tourists car unlocked and windows rolled down so the local thieves didn’t have to go to any trouble when they stole a pair of sunglasses and 20 CD’s. This is a lawsuit looking for a place to happen.
*** This is why we moved to fly over country. At least most of the good guys are still good.
