Got this in a email, not for the first time and its not funny. But this site isn’t all about humor. We love America and We support the troops. We also support loving America. Love supporting the troops. Love loving America and Support Supporting the troops. Here it is.
Red Fridays.
Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing
Red every Friday. The reason? Americans who support
our troops used to be called the “silent majority.” We
are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for
God, country and home in record breaking numbers. We
are not organized, boisterous or overbearing.
Many Americans, like you, me and all our friends,
simply want to recognize that the vast majority of
America supports our troops. Our idea of showing
solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and
respect starts this Friday — and continues each and
every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a
deafening message that … every red-blooded American
who supports our men and women afar, will wear
something red.
By word of mouth, press, TV — let’s make the United
States on every Friday a sea of red much like a
homecoming football game in the bleachers. If every
one of us who loves this country will share this with
acquaintances, coworkers, friends, and family, it will
not be long before the USA is covered in RED and it
will let our troops know the once “silent” majority is
on their side more than ever, certainly more than the
media lets on.
The first thing a soldier says when asked “What can
we do to make things better for you?” is …”We need
your support and your prayers.” Let’s get the word out
and lead with class and dignity, by example, and wear
something red every Friday.
If you don’t own anything red to wear on Red Friday, you might like to buy IMAO’s new Red Friday T-Shirt. So you can show you support our troops (not commies.)

Hey there’s nothing like demonstrating your support with visual proof, so we’re starting an IMAO Red Friday Gallery. Email your Red Friday Photo to me and I’ll get it added to the Red Friday gallery so you can show the whole world you support the troops.
They need our support now more than ever.

Damn right they need our support. This thing is not lost, it’s not over. Troop morale was the thing I worried about most with the recent elections. Thye cannot think for a moment we’ve given up on them or the mission.
This the first I heard about Red Fridays, but by coincidence I put on my red shirt this morning. Next Friday it won’t be a coincidence.
Hooooooooo-aahhhhhhhhhhh! Great idea to bring out everyone’s true colors. It will be interesting to see if these ass clowns from the “blue” states who say they support the troops can put on a red shirt, blouse, etc. and not melt like the wicked witch of the west (yes, I mean Nancy Pelosi).
Frank, speaking of the wicked witch from the west, why don’t you do a t-shirt with her face on the hag from Wizard of Oz. Brooms also conform with the Kyoto Accord I would imagine.
Now, Frank! I was going to wear Red this morning, but I ended up wearing green. (By the way, should the people who support Jack “You Can Bribe Me When I Know You Better” Murtha wear white?) You were laying down on the job, Frank, not posting this until midnight on the day when I was supposed to wear Red.
Now, I want you, Rush, Sean, Glenn, Hugh and all other conservative bosses to remember that the lemmings can’t do what you tell us to do if you don’t give us ample notice!
Spacemonkey – We appreciate the support but would also like to encourage loving the troops too. I support those who support loving the troops.
I report for work in red every Friday as do my employees. Maybe I can get them to sit still long enough for a picture to add to teh gallery.
The troops do need our support, but I don’t know if a Red Friday is the way to do it. It reminds me of the day the GLBT group on campus had a “wear jeans to show support for gays” day. At our rural university people wear jeans pretty much daily so I don’t know how they figured they’d tell the difference between apathetic people and those showing support for gays. (I gotta say, though, I’ve never before or since seen so many khakis worn to class as there were on that day.)
What good does it do to wear something special for a cause, when a large number of people are unknowingly wearing the same special thing?
Next week, I’ll go to town with it. I’ll start my day in a fresh white t-shirt & make sure it is drenched with the blood of several liberals before lunch.
The Bloods are going to think they got a bunch of new gang banger members.
Moneyman: I love and support your love and support of the troops and America!
Nylecoj: Target?
Wacky Hermit, then buy the shirt it removes all doubt about what you are doing.
AlanBQ, make sure they are pacifists.
Marie, But the crips’ll be running scared.
red is a good color for a target.
By cooincidence, I just happened to be wearing red today. I’ll have to spread this around the shop at work, as all of us are ex-military. How can I not love this country? Half my ancestory was here originally, and the other half were the first white guys to find it (as in Eric the Red)! Yup, I walk around with a tomahawk in one hand and a Viking sword in the other! ;-D
HaHAH!
Now I can support the Ohio State Buckeyes (BIG TEN CHAMPS!) AND the troops at the same time. WOOT!
