Lose Lose Lose – The New Theme for America

I dunno, I just don’t see us winning in Iraq at this point with about everyone dead set against us staying and winning (of all the bad things you can say about John McCain, he’s one of the very few deadest on winning). It’s all becoming a question of when we pull out. Then, focus we’ll go back to Afghanistan and we’ll flee there. Then, America will be effectively neutered and we’ll never have the will to win another war. Eventually, the Statue of Liberty will be blown up and then the apes will take over… which will be a lot better than being ruled by the Muslims.
While waiting for doom, the only thing left to do is assign blame. So who do you blame for us losing in Iraq? I blame my brother. He actually fought over there and I can only surmise he didn’t do a very good job at it. It’s like how I blame my father for us losing in Vietnam.
I shouldn’t just blog about losing, though. People come to IMAO to be happy. I should blog about something happy, like bunnies. They’re tasty.

  1. The main blame for losing the war goes directly at the fetid feet of the Main Stream Media. The New York Times, the Washington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Atlanta Constitution Journal, the Detroit Press….. The are all responsible for the defeat of this country.
The next group of cowards are those happy harpies of Hollyweird, Striesand, Moore, Baldwin, and the rest.
Following them, our elected officials. It’s hard to assign too much blame to them as they never have an original thought. They simply follow the prevailing miasma.
The rest of the blame goes to us as a country for not standing by our military and making our votes count in Nov. and by not insisting on candidates with spine, heart and minds.

  2. I have to admit, this is a very subtle form of satire and I love it. The only question I have is if it’s just to tweak Wizbang.
Here you are, in a fight for “Top Humor Blog” and you stopped bringing teh funny.
    That’s pretty darn funny.

  3. Who do I blame?
The media and liberal politico’s who act as apologists for being American’s.
The PC’ers and people who cannot see the moral difference between their country and Hamas or Alqueda. The people who want to see Bush fail at any cost to the country.
Sorry. Just don’t see much funny in this situation…

  4. Well, if there’s any teeny tiny bit of hope I can relay amid all the doom and gloom, the Bible does point out that very extreme bad stuff happening is a sign that Jesus is coming back soon. For those “skin of your teeth” Christians like me, it’s something to hope for. In the meantime, God bless those who are good at “teh” funny, and keep it up because we need it.

  5. I’ve always been a little confused about the end of time. The stuff about nuclear Armageddon, terrorists, the antichrist, worldwide chaos, etc is obvious. I’ve always had a hard time with the apes. I assume they show up before the second coming but apes are actually rather peaceful by nature. Does Jesus show up with the apes then, or do the apes show up with the antichrist. Is apes showing up a good sign or bad. How do we tell.

  6. I blame myself for not shooting more hippies, liberals, & commies when I knew it was the best thing for them. Sorry I let you down, guys. I know it’s a bit late now, but I’ll get out and shoot some as a kind of penance. I’ll shoot some bunnies, too.

  7. and then the apes will take over…
As the results of the last election, I thought this happened already.
Blame ourselves for not punching enough monkey-faced liberals.
When the military comes home, I say we declare war on all the liberals…this should be an easy war to win because liberals are against owning guns. After we shoot all the liberals, then winning every other war should be natural.
