So reader blastit had this comment to a post on the Boston Marathon bombing:
So I guess it was just a coincidence that FEMA was doing a terror training drill in boston on the same day as the marathon – and what was the training – A BOMBING.
Just like it was a coincidence that FEMA did a terror training in newtown on the same day the sandy hook shooting happened – what was their training on that day? MASS SHOOTING!
Cripes they even tried to invent an AR-15 this time around, too – but nobody ran with it and reported it all over like they did with newtown.
So while the one hand is performing a trick in front of you, pay attention to what the other hand is doing, and ask yourself about that internet security bill, the nonpartisan report that says at least our last 3 administrations, present included, have gone so far and beyond their bounds in terms of interrogation techniques….ask yourself what happened that gold was slammed down into the $1300s…ask yourself why all kinds of economic indicators tanked hard after obama’s meeting with them last week.
If you still want to believe the “official” stories, I’ve got a bridge in brooklyn to sell you and a nice big blue pill for you to take. The american people are getting set up.
I know like right after the Boston Marathon bombing, there were those Infowars types saying it was a “false flag” operation to take away our guns. Now, I’m no CIA operative trying to manipulate the public (or, at least, that’s what I want you to believe), but it seems like if you were going to create an incident to gin up support for gun control, you’d want that incident to involve guns. When people use pressure cookers to murder, that sort of goes against the whole idea you can stop murder by taking away people’s guns.
But conspiracies are fun. I’m trying to break into writing fiction, and conspiracies make great fiction. All the secrets and people manipulating things behind the scenes — it’s very mysterious and entertaining. I think conspiracy theorists should try writing government fan fiction — you know, fiction in which the government is filled with competent people who can carry off advanced, complicated conspiracies involving thousands of conspirators with no one fessing up. Good creative writing assignment right there.

“you G damned ^^^#@ing thieves! You Libertarians truly are the scum of the earth.”
Hey man, I know most sane rational people have a natural aversion to the notion that an entity whose basic function is to provide the framework for peace & liberty might be the very same people who help arm, train, and get these ragtag morons off the ground in their crazy plots. It was natural to think “there’s no possible way this could happen.” I thought the same way for quite a long time too – but ya know what? When we continually get handed “official” stories that are CLEARLY not the whole truth, “facts” are altered to suit a narrative – what the hell do you do, just keep going on believing the stories even though the ends get looser and looser every single time something like this happens???
I mean really, the trainings just give plausible deniability to whatever government agency that is the root of these attacks – or do you believe its just a coincidence? Which of course, we’re all free to keep our heads in the sand and believe whatever it is that gets written on the TV or the newspaper – that’s reliable, right? Half the funny crap around this site here is making fun of government failures, media failures. But to say that they might have been involved, oh, that’s a step too far? Regardless of all the inconsistencies in these stories, you’re willing to give the government a pass on it – simply from the reasoning that “it sounds crazy, how could a government do such a thing?”
That sounds about as shallow as the accusations of “you conspiracy theorists will believe whatever the conspiracy theory is as soon as it comes out.”
Is this a court of law where I have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that *this* exact government entity did it, in the study, with the wrench…or is the onus on the government here, who hands out half baked stories and expects everyone to believe and then outright dismisses, ignores, or threatens people that go against “the official story?”
All I’m saying is, use your head, to whose advantage is it to dismiss the questions that shoot holes in the official story – certainly not yours or mine!
When commenting, I strive to limit my comments to no more than 3 sentences per paragraph and no more than three paragraphs in total length. I find that the percentage of a comment I read is inversely proportional to the length of the comment.
So, the comment above – didn’t read any of it.
Pro tip: shorter comments make you sound more sane.
Much too verbose, Bunker. Use “YGDFT!YLTATSOTE.”
lol…gotta love the TLDR sidestep. are people seriously that averse to reading some text? averse to reading a complete thought? sorry ernie, all that tells me is
OOH LOOK SQUIRREL!!!!!!!!
My favorite Alex Jones conspiracy theory was that the guys planting the bombs wore hats “typical of those commonly worn by Navy SEALs” (they were golf hats, but still…). Because, as you know, if you’re going to go on a covert opp in which you target your own civilians, it’s important to wear gear that properly identifies your unit.
As someone with a nodding acquaintance with things spooky, blastit’s comments were, unintentionally I’m sure, mirth inspiring. Yes, it is true, as Ben Frankin is supposed to have said, that a conspiracy is best kept amongst three people when two of them are dead. (And the third doesn’t have a book deal with Regnery.) Sadly, the number of dedicated, take-the-secrets-to-their-graves Operators is small compared to the over-eager, political, triple-ace, stick-and-rudder desk pilots who generate adequate-enough throughput on its way to review by higher eschelons. Most of the latter just chomping at the bit to have a best seller ghost-written for them. Or they sell their wares in the Hollywood marketplace as “consultants” or scriptwriters.
Just hearken back to that gal who was a supposed CIA officer while her husband was involved in diplomatic operations…FYI, you’re hardly covert if your Volvo wagon has a three-inch high, full-color CIA sticker in the rear window.
On the other hand..some, like Gordon Liddy, Dale Dye, Harry Humphries or Dick Marcinko are actual BTDT people. Their work in films and TV shows like 24 stands up to scrutiny.
However, the idea that these two eedjits were contracted, or as they called it in the Brit show Spooks “clean skins” is ludicrous from the start, and truly the stuff of small-screen fiction.
I can garr-onn-tee that at least one Operator would have dimed out the operation in its planning stages before one civillian was at risk of injury or death. Word would’ve broken on Drudge, Rush, Hannity or Mark Levin after a vetting of bona fides.
Janet Napolitano, Eric Holder, and whoever else are the latest naiifs playing politically-correct musical chairs at CIA, DIA, FBI, DSS, etc. because of demographics rather than experience, ARE threats to American citizens because of arrogant incompetence not because of neo-Trilateralist Commando Strike Team conspiracy skills.
While one can be justifiably leery of any official report released and hold it up to the Warren Commission reports for comparison in heft, weight and equality of malororousness of fresh excrement…it in no way can be walked back to Claire Chennault flying to the moon to establish the first joint AVG/OSS-directed weather-controller bases and Apollo 13 being a resupply mission…much as Cindy Sheehan or the Black Helo crowd would like the low information crowd to believe. Nor was a clean-shaven Osama Bin Laden working as a DIA control contact running the op from the leaky basement of a three-decker in Dorchester. It is also incorrect that a slip of paper was found in the older brother’s pant’s pocket which had both Mayor Menino and John Kerry’s personal phone numbers on it. Neither were the pressure cookers bought on sale from Filene’s Basement. Also, the two brothers were not seen lurking in the Combat Zone the Sunday before Patriot’s Day.
Because if any of that were true it might give creedence to the rumors of a time machine being in the hands of Muslim terrorists.
And we couldn’t have that working its way across the ever-reliable and truthful interwebs. Now could we?
@Bunker, I don’t know why you would call them scum of the earth. I find librarians to be fine upstanding and helpful people. They help me find books, and magazines, and point out whre the insane conspiracy theorists is speaking. I do not find them to be objectionable at all.
If you truly believe the government is being truthful and hiding nothing…
Can I interest you in some Bolivian Tin futures that are sure to double in 30 days?
Matt,
The distance between “believing everything the government tells us” and “there is a vast government conspiracy to murder its own citizen for political purposes” is perhaps many more leagues than you’re imagining.
You guys act like false flags are without historical precedent. If you dont think we’re in the midst of an information war, you’re pretty naive. I dont say that because I like info wars, I say that because that is a truth of the situation we find ourselves in.
So how do you feel about having learned that our government knew about Pearl Harbor ahead of time and didnt tell our pacific general, watched and let it all happen, all as a nice pretext for declaring war on japan?
Or that Saddam was trying to get around using Dollar$ for oil and wanted to start trading it with gold, a little deal was struck with the kuwati emir to slap saddam in the face and basically entrap his haughty ass into invading? Of course the story simply looks like saddam was a warmonger – he was – but the thing is, he wasn’t the only one.
I could go on but I’m getting the idea that you folks are just sitting there scratching your heads going how could this stuff possibly be related?
And then yas keep wondering why the progressives are basically winning this war – its globalism, in case I need to spell that one out. Why do you think the EU was created? What do the banks have to do with it? (heh, so what did the banks have to do with the creation of the federal reserve, for that matter? here, you give to me, I will take. trust, I take care of well.)
Frank, it is a mischaracterization to assert any sort of vastness to the roots – its working relies on there being a vast amount of people that contain the core beliefs of the US and are well convinced they represent those beliefs and will carry them out to the hilt – and they dont necessarily know what the intentions are of the people who crafted whatver policy it is they are presently carrying out. It also lets the truly detrimental ones hide behind the stupid ones. Vastness is only to be found in resource, not in number.
So hey….if you didnt do anything wrong, what do you have to worry about? If you’re telling the truth, do you have to spend all kinds of time making sure your story is straight?
By being shady and propagating misinformation, the government is simply inviting this kind of speculation to take place. Present a story that blatantly contains falsified elements and the credibility of the entire story is suspect.
You guys are so mean. Don’t the Liberian’s have enough troubles with your uncalled for vituperation.
It’s a false flag operation to take away our pressure cookers. Crock-Pots are next.
Regarding Sandy Hook. Something is definitely wrong with what we were told happened that day. The biggest flag for me: no tears. In every interview, every parent of a slain child (every child looked like a Hollywood model, incidentally) “broke down” and “cried” but, not one tear…every interview felt like a bad Hollywood movie.
Start with Robbie Parker, who walks out smiling and laughing then appears to “get into character” for the interview. You can watch the one family member who tries to cry but can’t at the start, then skip to 3:00 for the bizarre interview with the supposed father:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sino1wwm3cs
Then there’s the McDonnell family interview with Anderson Cooper, who are extremely well-adjusted to the fact that their daughter was just brutally murdered a few days before this interview, smiling throughout as they share stories about their deceased daughter…and who take time out to gush over how she is praying for strength for Obama.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToQNVJE4xgk
In this interview with ABC News, Krista Rekos “cries” throughout the entire interview, yet not one tear.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itX1AI8Z-nM
Right. Blastit, you have my humblest apologies.
Dick Marcinko, now a brevetted Commodore, USNR, was actually on Boylston, running the joint SEAL/ Ranger op while tucking into a nice bowl of chowdah, seated in the very back of The Forum restaurant.
The two bombers were recruited by Green Team operatives working in situ, covertly, in Kazurgystan because they did such outstanding impersonations of The Wild and Crazy Guys.
An Army Security Agency disinformation team, in Ft. Meade Maryland, prepared the YouTube, Google, and MySpace internet chaff. A stage set, replicating the Marathon finish line on Boylston Street, was built in the basement studios of the former Military Police School at Carlyle Barracks six months ago and the street scenes filmed from various blurry angles showing the brothers in their forward and backwards facing baseball caps. The establishing wide-shot showing a seemingly elder runner collapsing to the ground was actually CGI background as Lt. Col. James “Buck” Corrigan, the commander of Army Master Martial Arts Training at Fort Hunter Liggett, clad in running gear, made a controlled tumble in front of a large greenscreen.
The elder brother, Tamerlan, was given plastic surgery and secreted to an island owned by a George Soros-controlled shell corporation. The younger brother, known for his love of videogames and marijuana, has been relocated to Bellevue Washington and is being trained to be a game-coder for Microsoft as they look to upgrade their version of Solitaire.
Congratulations, Blastit, you yanked on the thread and unravelled the conspiracy.
Now, go sell it to The Huffington Post.
There goes cat feeding vitamins to Lilliputians again. Why, the little guys just seemed happy fitting into their clothing with out your conspiracy theory about B12.
Son of Bob,
So, they’re made up families pretending to have lost children, and no one who knows these people are going to come forward and point this out? I guess the government will kill anyone tries to do that. Of course, I’m part of the conspiracy — my job being to ridicule such notions.
hah – bhb, my only naivete I guess was thinking I’d get a serious conversation about it here 😛 instead I get “well, you’re crazy to question the official story” – spoken like a good obedient little sheep.
Son of Bob: also consider why the 911 tree appeared to go straight to “higher authorities” – state police were on the scene in less than 5 minutes and had a towney at the entrance down the driveway – I’d love to see the 911 logs from it – did the townies get the call and find that stateys were already there with “the situation under control?”
Do you really think the cia killed mkultra when they were told to? Whether its cointel or whatever else they’ve named it – it still exists.
RFK’s shooter didnt even recall doing the job.
lol…Frank if I realized your comment there also originated from the OP snark here I would have addressed you more thoroughly.
So your second comment was a mischaracterization, just like your OP. Your opening statement could have actually said something…oh, perhaps substantive… instead of just trying to say I was equating the bombing directly with the gun control effort.
Did it ever occur to you even once that this is PEOPLE CONTROL, not gun control? You’re not going to control guns – the state can only try and persuade people to do this or that via various incentives…whether its welfare (poor person or corporate,) bread, circuses, threat of jail or other violence…
but I digress, I dont think I will get any sort of serious answer out of you – I guess it never dawned on me that “my arrogant opinion” meant “I have a box I’m trying to think inside of here, so if you dont like it I’ll come up with something silly to say back to you, and we’ll call it a day.”
I know if I were certain the government was murdering its citizens I’d spend my time hanging out in the comments section of a humor blog.
Frank J,
All I’m saying is something is very off about Sandy Hook, and if you watch the interviews with the parents of these kids they’re all weird. When you watch interview after interview with family members who supposedly just lost their child a few days prior and they’re all “pretending” to cry – and can’t – something’s not right. Meanwhile, in the interview with the McDonnell family (incidentally, there’s footage of them pretending to cry – again, no tears – at the school) a few days after the shooting they’ve adjusted to their daughter’s death better than anyone I know could have in years.
yeah that’s what I thought – keep up that inquisitive nature, frank. I’ll stick to commenting on other places where people who have open minds are actually interested in discussion instead of toting around the status quo and acting all “conservative” (or whatever the current bastardization of the term is these days) while at the same time toeing the line on any and all official stories.
haha, by that rationale, was philly and cincy perfectly legit back in november – IYAO?
how bout al franken? legitimately seated? ct gov malloy? iran 09 for that matter? lol. or are those all conspiracies too? where’s your line between conspiracy theory and conspiracy fact? do we have to wait 90 years for the government to release the data, then you’ll believe it? or do we actually have to find eric holder’s fingerprints on one of those barrets they ran over the border?
all rhetorical questions – like you said, this is a humor blog, and we cant discuss anything serious here.
Son of Bob,
And… what are you implying by that? I can only come up with two conclusions:
1. You don’t know what grief would look like in that situation.
or
2. There’s an absolutely insane conspiracy going on that would never work in real life.
Which seems more likely?
blastit,
The only conspiracy I see here is that your behavior is inconsistent with your stated beliefs. If someone really believed the government was murdering people, they wouldn’t do what you’re doing. So… what is your ploy?
What the heck? Carpenter totally blatantly baiting the mods, and now Blastit?
Is this what happens when attention is drawn to your popular conservative site?
Stirring the pot: It’s a con-spiral-cy!
George W. Bush has to be the greatest genius of all time… at least if he did what the claim he did.
Frank,
1) I know what it looks like when people cry. Water comes from your face.
2) I’m just saying if you watch the interviews with these families something doesn’t jive – where you go from there is up to you.
“…And then there’s IMAO, where they routinely ban anyone who questions their way of thinking….”
-Future Huffington Post article, being cobbled together now.
Son of the Bob,
Don’t be a coward. If you’re making implications, own up to them. Or just say you’re full of it and were just joking around and being silly.
I own up to it. How else do you want me to say it – as I said, there’s something not right about Sandy Hook. Do I know what really did or didn’t happen? Nope. But, aside from the three interviews that I posted, there are interviews with many other family members of victims “pretending” to cry. But, not one tear…lots of scrunched up faces and sniffling. Why is that? Or, is pretending cry some sort of weird therapy for families who have suffered a loss?
Son of Bob,
And you think the government would set up a bunch of fake families who didn’t actually lose children and expect no one who knows them to point that out? That’s insane. There is no way a conspiracy like that could work or anyone would even be dumb enough to try it. Insane.
Wait. Did somebody up there say “thinking I’d get a serious conversation… here” ??!?! Am I at the wrong web site?
@Blastit:
So how does now-Brigadier Ollie North figure into this? Was he the one actually tucked into the backseat of that SR-71 scooting about ferrying intel from Kzyrgyspzkystan to D.C.?
Didja know that Lindsay Graham reported directly to then-light Colonel North? Have you guessed who held that down-feather pillow over the mouth and nose of Col. David Hackworth before he could submit his expose’ to the publishers? That Barry Goldwater ordered the hit on Jimmy Hoffa?
George W. Bush has to be the greatest genius of all time… at least if he did what the claim he did.
Bush took orders from Dick Cheney, who faxed them in from his undisclosed Trilateral Commission Command Center bunker located five stories below the Skull and Bones Enclave near the Yale University campus…when Cheney wasn’t having neat whiskeys and cigars with Bill Buckley, Gordon Liddy, and Bob Dornan.
@Bunkerhillbilly:
I guess it’s all pretty reasonable when you explain it like that.
@Frank J:
But of course.
Just wait for it, Blastit will soon mention how Cheney conspired with CIA operative S. Hussein to move not WMDs but the actual contents of Area 51 which had been flown to the middle-east by a black-op cargo plane flying out of Davis-Monthan AFB…all because Kinky Friedman was going to break the news on Howard Stern.
Frank J,
I’m actually not a big conspiracy guy. The Boston Bombing was two terrorist punks. 9/11 was a few more terrorist punks. We really went to the moon. Obama was born in Kenya (well, maybe that one). But, when you watch countless videos of people who supposedly just lost their children to a vicious murderer, where everyone “pretends” to cry, some complete with snorting and sniffling, yet no one actually cries and they all appear to be B-grade actors, it would be insane not to find that odd.
Son of Bob,
So, that means…
I mean, really — are you implying their children didn’t actually die and the collective hundreds of people who would know these people in real life aren’t pointing this out?
Insane. What other logical conclusion are you pressing towards other than an extremely insane one?
Perhaps what Son of Bob is intimating is that Sandy Hook was a domestic PsyWar op filmed in the same basement studio at the old MP School in Carlyle Barracks where the Boston op was lensed. The participants being either seconded from INSCOM or culled from Central Casting and William Morris. Morris’s contract with the government dating back to “Wild Bill” Donovan and the OSS in 1942.
@Bunkerhillbilly:
Oh. Ok. Well that makes sense.
The problem with dashing down the conspiracy rabbit hole and guzzling pint glasses marked drink me, is that nugget of possibility. Were tears streaming down sundry faces? Maybe yes, maybe no. Was Bin Laden’s body actually seen before being commended to Davy Jones’s Locker? Or is Bin Laden now Ben Larter, the new rebounding coach for the NY Knicks? Who can contradict that Saddam Hussein isn’t, after considerable plastic surgery, working as the concierge at The Vier Jahreszeit Hotel in Zurich? Has anyone seen Noriega recently? Who’s to say he isn’t running several Radio Shack franchises in Pomona and West Hollywood?
Werner Von Braun, and other former Nazis who affiliated with The Gehlen Group, worked at NASA. Otto Skorzeny was ex-filled by OSS Jeds to England, then D.C., before being placed as an executive with Coca-Cola in South America.
If you really want something to sink your fangs into, look into how close the Soviets came to having a US President with Henry A. Wallace, VPOTUS under FDR. He was run by KGB people for years and could well have ascended to the presidency when Roosevelt died. Of course, we’ve got Obama and he’s bringing Soviet Russia within our borders…so who really won the Cold War?
But let’s focus on the Cindy Sheehan stuff…weather-controller bases on the moon and Mars which Bush used (again, under orders from Cheney) to control flooding and tornados.
Get lost in the weeds of a joint Mossad/Tri-Lateralist Airborne Ranger demolition op which brought down the Twin Towers on 11th Sept because everyone knows that jet fuel wouldn’t melt steel, right?
Hearken way back to when Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy were serving as a counter-measure to the anti-Allies Lord Haw Haw.
Then take a big bite out of the slice of angel-food cake marked “Eat Me!” and return to some semblance of reality.
I’ve never seen Frank so engaging.
God bless Frank for this site;
God bless Son of Bob for his reasoned argument;
God bless Frank for countering it with reason.
Frank J,
Okay, long post warning. Because you or I can’t personally can’t fathom something doesn’t make it “insane.” Thirty years ago, if someone had suggested that two men could get legally married in the United States he/she would have been labeled insane.
What if someone were to suggest that the United States government was going to attempt an operation to create a situation whereby they could convince Americans that swift federal gun regulations were necessary despite the 2nd amendment. In order to create an impassioned movement for that legislation, they were going to supply military-style rifles to drug lords in Mexico in hopes that hundreds, maybe thousands, of people would be slaughtered with guns “Made in America”, and that the outcry from the violent killings could be used in a PR move backed by the left-wing …um, “mainstream” media to push through gun ban legislation. That suggestion would sound incredibly insane. And, with all the people that would have to be involved, how could they even attempt to pull something like that off? Yet, Fast & Furious happened, HUNDREDS of people were killed, yet short of a few hearings and some internet news sites no one is pointing this out…or cares.
As for Sandy Hook, every moment surrounding that event has just seemed to not make sense. Let’s review: Despite a static crime scene with an identified killer, for two days the story changed with each passing hour (he killed his mom, then he didn’t, he killed his dad, then he didn’t, his mother worked at the school, then she didn’t, he had fought with an official at the school, then he hadn’t, he came in through the window, he came in through the door, etc.). Compare that to Boston, where no one knew who the killers were or even how many there were, and the real facts changed every hour, yet the coverage was – for the most part – all correct. It turns out that even CNN’s “false” report of a Saudi suspect being arrested in connection with the bombing was, basically, correct – although he wasn’t arrested, he was detained and is strangely being deported (Hannity covered it today on his show, and it’s been reported on Breitbart). Anyway, add to the Sandy Hook shooting a shooter that no one had any contact with in years and almost no one seemed to know. His alibi is non-existent. A few weeks ago, we were suddenly told that he was “abused” by classmates when he attended Sandy Hook Elementary School, as the press’s new motive. If that was really the case, I would expect him to go after anyone that might have taken part in that abuse, but it’s pretty far-fetched – even by insane standards – that he would exact his revenge on two classrooms full of 8 year olds that weren’t even born at the time that supposedly happened. Every interview from family members (to the strange guy who somehow had four kids randomly dropped at his doorstep by a schoolbus driver?) was more bizarre than the one before it. Then Obama makes a speech just moments after the shooting in which he’s already launching a full-scale legislative assault on the 2nd amendment (specifically stating that legislators need to put politics aside to pass legislation), and the democrats hit the ground running with a plan that seemed to already be in the works. Incidentally, Obama wipes fake tears from his eyes during his speech.
You are correct in stating that, to suggest that something of this scale could be pulled off – at least on the surface – seems insane. However, the press is always predictable, and they are always infatuated with a crime scene – especially one that would help further an agenda like gun control. Following Sandy Hook, we would expect every mainstream media outlet to run tear-jerking interviews with everyone who ever lived within a 100-mile radius of the crime scene, as that’s what we always get. “Coming up next, meet the woman who’s brother’s ex-girlfriend’s sister lived next door to one of the victims.” Yet, again, something odd happened in this case. It was reported one day that “the people of Newtown have asked the press to leave and give them their privacy” …and they did. When has that ever happened? We got the initial interviews with the victim families, then that’s it. Where are all the “Newtown residents try to get back to normal life” stories the press always loves to give us and the tear-jerking local resident memories of the victims? Just a few days after Boston, we know way, way more about the two Boston Bombers than we still know about Adam Lanza months later.
Today, the oddities continue. The Newtown families are paraded around by the president and we’re told that any legislator that votes against any legislation endorsed by any Newtown family is a despicable person. When he made his speech in the rose garden chastising Republicans for supposedly blocking his gun legislation, Obama was surrounded by Newtown victim families, including a black gentleman. While the black man added diversity to the photo op, there were no black children killed in Newtown. So, who was he? In the moments after the bombs went off in Boston, FoxNews was reporting that Newtown victim families were supposedly in the grandstands located a few feet from where the bombs went off at the Boston Marathon.
Trust me, I get what you’re saying Frank. Despite the undeniable “convenience” of this tragedy happening at the perfect time and in the perfect place to use the emotional crisis necessary to get something as difficult to tackle as undermining the 2nd amendment, the idea of this being something that the government could pull off seems pretty far out there. However, let’s say it happened. Who, exactly, would shed light on the fact it wasn’t true or interview the people pointing out that these families aren’t legitimate? MSNBC? The New York Times? CNN? ABC? NBC? CBS? And no, FoxNews wouldn’t touch it, either. So, there’s the internet. Well, the internet is full of people pointing out flaws in the reporting and the Newtown story, complete with video – Google it or look up the videos on YouTube. As an example, much of the overhead video shown that day on CNN wasn’t even from the correct school – many of the overhead shots reportedly showing police at Sandy Hook were actually from the incredibly coincidental “school shooter” drill going on a few miles away at another school. But, no one cares. So, in that respect it’s kind of like the 50-plus people who were friends or business associates with the Clintons that committed suicide. Many families of those people were wanting to talk to media, but media would not talk to them.
Again, to pull off a hoax of this magnitude would clearly be a pretty massive undertaking. But, we know that they DID undertake Fast & Furious – specifically, in an attempt to gain emotional momentum to change gun legislation – despite that being a massive undertaking, as well. And, despite the operation completely blowing up in their faces, literally hundreds of dead victims including a border patrol agent, aside from a few rogue representatives and keyboard jockies on the internet where is the story? Was Obama impeached? Was Holder fired? Where is the investigation? We know that this administration seems to know no limitations, and unlike any other time in American history, the media will run unquestioningly with whatever story they feed them. So while, yes, on the surface it may seem insane to suggest that Sandy Hook might be a hoax, as I stated earlier, for me it was most unusual to watch each video of what seem to be bad actors instead of grieving parents “pretending” to cry. So, whether the whole story was a hoax or the version reported to us was a hoax, who knows. But, wouldn’t it be somewhat insane to see things in the reporting of this event that clearly don’t make any sense and pretend they do in fear of being labeled insane?
Son of Bob,
So, the one dad who lost a child at Newtown and is against gun control…
Insane. Hundreds of people would know these “actors” and be able to identify them. Insane. You are not a rational person thinking logically to push this. I don’t think you even really believe. You are just being silly.
Frank J,
So, you look at all the flaws and inconsistencies surrounding this story, all the bizarre oddities connected to Sandy Hook, like the teacher who was killed in the attack being quoted by the Newtown paper the next day describing the attack, and say that to question the story’s numerous flaws is insane? Now you are just being silly.
I guess you’re right and Fast & Furious didn’t happen either. Nor did an operation in Benghazi in which roughly a hundred people who were present at the “embassy” at the time of the attack and four murders have disappeared, and the Obama administration won’t make them available for questioning by our own congress. Janet Reno didn’t order an attack on the Branch Davidian community in Waco, Texas in 1993 and those 76 people, including 26 children, didn’t really die. I could go on…
Son of Bob,
You can hide it in all the blather and false equivalencies you want, but you are making an absolutely insane assertion to think that people could pretend to have children killed – some supporting gun control and some not afterwards – and it’s all orchestrated by the government which is counting on the hundreds of people who know those people to not come forward. Absolutely insane. You would just been another silly person on the Internet indulging in fantasy, but the fact you’re making these idiotic accusation – which you know are idiotic and absolutely insane – about people who lost children is disgusting.
I have a theory about the no-tears interviews …
– MSM wants gun control.
– MSM is filled with parasites willing to exploit grieving parents to push a left-wing agenda.
– MSM callously coaches grieving parents on how to maximize the gun control impact of the interview.
– Parents give stiff interviews without the crying expected in a normal unrehearsed interview.
I had heard about the FEMA training near Sandyhook, and went to the CT government link showing the training schedule. I think the FEMA training in CT is “coincidence” (don’t tell Gibbs). Blastit’s post is first claim I have seen of FEMA training in Boston on the day of the marathon. FEMA training in Boston on the day of the marathon seems unlikely to me, as many of people that would need the training (first responders) would already be engaged or on standby with marathon duties. I could not find any mention of FEMA training in Boston on the day of the marathon, but I didn’t search very long.
Not all conspiracy theories or theorist are whacko. Governments lie. Politicians lie. So-called journalists lie. The hard part is sorting the lies from the truth.
@1 – I’ll bet Frank doesn’t understand that first comment. I’ve heard he doesn’t read his own blog.

Harvey,
I read it on occasion! I’m very busy man, though.
All right, which one of you jokers is posting under Frank’s name? 😛
Frank J.
I don’t believe this was a false flag operation. But, I do believe that these
military contractors were onsight doing something. (probably training with DHS or
possibly surveillence) It would have been easy to tell us the truth. But, denying
their existence to cover someones’ butt leads to mistrust and craziness.
Frank J,
So, basically, I’ve stated the fact that neither you or I know what happened. And, that is fact. You only know what you’ve been told happened by media, which doesn’t mean very much. It’s entirely possible that everything happened just as it was reported – however, it’s equally possible that only part of what we were told, or none of what we were told, is what really happened. You weren’t there, nor do you know anyone that was. Neither do I. The same media and progressive education system that states as “fact” that Republicans started the KKK, that democrats freed the slaves, that the civil rights movement was started by democrats and Republicans attempted to suppress it, that George Bush illegally started the Iraq war while democrats in congress protested the invasion, has now supplied you with all the “facts” about Sandy Hook. I pointed out that we have recently witnessed a massive government conspiracy called Fast & Furious, in which literally hundreds of people have been slaughtered in an attempt to foster support for gun control. That’s not a theory, despite the lack of press coverage Eric Holder has testified to the fact that it happened. Meanwhile, the same media that educated you about Sandy Hook informed you that it was George W Bush, not Barack Obama, that carried out Fast & Furious. Just a few years ago, the suggestion that our government would knowingly launch an operation like Fast & Furious would likely have been considered insane. Yet, it happened, however, the media has buried the story and anyone willing to tell about it, no one has been arrested, fired or impeached, and for all intents and purposes the majority of the American public has no idea it ever occurred, and never will.
However, having reviewed your rational, fact-based responses…
“I know if I were certain the government was murdering its citizens I’d spend my time hanging out in the comments section of a humor blog.”
“That’s insane. There is no way a conspiracy like that could work or anyone would even be dumb enough to try it. Insane.”
“Insane. What other logical conclusion are you pressing towards other than an extremely insane one?”
“Insane. Hundreds of people would know these “actors” and be able to identify them. Insane. You are not a rational person thinking logically to push this. I don’t think you even really believe. You are just being silly.”
“You can hide it in all the blather and false equivalencies you want, but you are making an absolutely insane assertion…”
“You would just been another silly person on the Internet indulging in fantasy, but the fact you’re making these idiotic accusation – which you know are idiotic and absolutely insane – about people who lost children is disgusting.”
…you’ve certainly educated me and changed my mind. But, why do I have this nagging feeling that I’ve been exchanging viewpoints with Chris Matthews?
Son of Bob,
Here you go again, blustering on and on about everything except the logical conclusion of what you’re implying. “I’m just asking questions!” is what the conspiracist always say to avoid owning up to their insanity. If you actually started with the premise that these are actors who didn’t lose children and then went through logically how impossible a conspiracy like that would be to pull off and how insane it is to think anyone would even try such an easily uncovered ruse, you’d have to admit this is insane and then give up your silly little game. Instead, you’re doing the stereotypical conspiracy thing of throwing out of bunch of bluster to do anything other than admit the insanity of your implications.
Here’s the conspiracy: You know you’re full of it and are embarrassed and are trying to cover that up.
Quoth Frank J.:
“I’m just asking questions!” is what the conspiracist always say to avoid owning up to their insanity.
So Socratic enquiry is a hallmark of madness?
How then, Chief, does one separate intellectual meat from gristle?
Are you then advocating, by your emphatic derision of “asking questions”, the abiding acceptance of anything told us by a so-called, or self-declared, higher authority?
E.g.: Unless you’ve stood next to the man, how do you determine, or accept, the size of Shaquille O’Neill? The media provides the impression of the man’s size…how do you know for an unquestionable certainty that he’s not the size of Billy Barty? Do you know that most movie sets are built 5/8 to 6/8ths scale? Could that figure into a supposed conspiracy about Shaq? Hmmmm?
Riddle us those, Frank J.
Oh, well.
It’s OK, Frank. I remember when I was your age I thought I knew everything, too.
Gotta love it.
Questions asked, and it gets met with argumentum ad vericundiam, argumentum ad absurdum, move on to argumentum ad misericordiam;
Ultimately, argumentum ad baculum if you keep on poking the guy that calls you crazy for pointing out gaping holes in an “official” story on his site, replete with faithful hecklers that interject all sorts of nonsense of their own in order to show that your argument is nonsense also.
Didnt you guys ever get taught that a straw man argument is not a rebuttal, but a misdirection?
So how about the corp director of seven 11 saying the brothers didnt rob 711, whatever that footage was of the two of them it was not from 711…
Oh wait, that’s crazy talk – the authorities even said…oh wait, they fabricated where they “didnt know” and presented it to everyone as fact. But we’ll give them a pass on it right?
Are you going to give the authorities a pass on the blatant 4th amendment violations also, or are those stories just made up about the police going around forcibly removing people from their homes in order to search them?
*facepalm* oh wait, cant call those ones crazy because there’s video of the cops doing exactly that.
Son of Bob pointed out all of the idiotic “that’s crazy” rebuttals, and your retort to that is “well you dont follow your own argument to its logical conclusion” – as if you appear to be logically understanding it one iota from the getgo. If you understood what was being said you wouldnt wildly extrapolate and mischaracterize it in your rebuttals so as to make it sound crazy. Sure you’re not a closet progressive, frank? 😛
An actual conservative is too productive a member of society to have indulge in fantasy to try have a feeling of specialness.
@ Frank J:
So it’s equivocations and evasions rather than direct, substantive responses from you, Chief?
Way to bring the weight of your beliefs to the discussion.
Ever so impressive.
Not to mention revelatory in the attempt at condescension.
Truly, son, if you’re going to take a flop in the ring at least make it look like you’re stepping into the punch.
😆 whilst patting himself on the back because of his own perceived specialness. as he writes a humor site, no less. good show, frank – with conservatives like you, no wonder liberals call us braindead.
ggs folks, I can get my entertainment elsewhere, just like I can get actual discussion elsewhere. if I wanted condescension I would have gone over to an AGW site and told them about how the solar flares in march heated the hell out of the thermosphere so I could get told “your argument is invalid and not peer reviewed!”
bhb, sob, glad there are a couple people here with some critical thinking skills.
@58-blastit:
Heckler?
Have you even bothered to fact check the things I’ve mentioned?
Or are you too busy/lazy (six of one) to toe through the mirthful excrement to find the few golden nuggets?
And, ultimately, isn’t that the form and substance of a conspiracy theory?
@61-blastit:
Apologies, for the snark, thanks for the h/t.
One more thing:
Quoth you Frank J:
An actual conservative is too productive a member of society to have indulge in fantasy to try have a feeling of specialness.
Why, when reading the above, is the reader more inclined to a visual of Marie Antoinette fluttering her hand fan, than one of Daniel Boone, a look of grim determination on his weathered face, giving utterance to this?
Just askin’.
(Whoops! Just realized that that’s a question…[cue dun, dun, dun dramatic stinger.] Apparently, we daren’t do such a socially offensive thing.
[Thumps chest thrice] mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa…Dominie non sum dignus.
Bunkerhillbilly,
Now you sound like a progressive Chris Matthews.
Quoth yon Frank J:
Bunkerhillbilly, (n)ow you sound like a progressive Chris Matthews.
A progressive Chris Matthews….is there a conservative one? If so, who then?
But really…that’s the best you can do? Ad Hominem?
I’m kinda surprised you didn’t bust out the your mama wears Birkenstocks or your father smelled of elderberries gambit.
Those really would’ve been some ego-crushing ripostes, to be sure.
Provided you’d first answered, substantively, the several questions put before you.
However, apparently, anything terminating in a question mark seems to send you in snarky retreat.
Did you have nightmares about Frank Gorshin, perhaps, after watching a particular Batman episode as a child? Jim Carrey perhaps. (Granting that his turn in that role was particularly execrable.)
But, back to point, your quote:
An actual conservative is too productive a member of society to have indulge in fantasy to try have a feeling of specialness.
That’s hardly the thing you’d imagine George Patton saying from the cab of his half track as it bounced over the dunes of N. Africa; or Ronald Reagan saying after greeting Gorbachev at the steps of that building in Rejkavik.
Neither would “an actual conservative” equivocate, vacillate or retreat from an intellectual dialectic.
Yet you call me a progressive Chris Matthews.
Right.
To be honest, I don’t really understand where you’re coming from or what you’re getting at, dude.
To be honest, I don’t really understand where you’re coming from or what you’re getting at, dude.
Hey, you’re the writer, right? A wordsmith.
Yet you give the impression of someone incapable of a substantive dialectic.
I called you on your ad hominems towards SoB and your statement deriding the dialectic.
Scroll up and do a bit of reading for comprehension, ok, Chief?
Sort yourself out.
He was engaging in the absolutely insane, morally offensive conspiracy that the families from Newtown were paid actors and didn’t actually lose children. It’s disgusting to engage in flights of fancy on top of people’s grief. How should I handle that?
@69
Again, Chief, you seem to have a serious problem with the mere fact of asking pointed questions.
SoB appeared to be doing that. The questioning of things rather than taking them at face value.
This seems to have you recoiling at impressive velocity.
I mean, c’mon Frank, are you some kind of Cal Lightman able to legitimately read sincerity or mendacity in the face of someone on TV? Can you, unequivocally, say one way or another about those people who were interviewed?
I have serious questions about the coverage of both Newtown and Boston.
Are you now going to call ME a lip-flipper?
You stated: Now, I’m no CIA operative…
So, admittedly, you have no detailed knowledge of the nuanced functions of the US intelligence community past what you may have read in Vince Flynn books, seen on 24, or seen in the movies.
Right.
Aside from actually enlisting and perhaps being deep-selected for TDY with the DIA and gaining cross-contact with CIA officers…just how would you find out about domestic operations or look deep into things which just do not track?
Would you not begin by asking questions?!?
Instead, you deride and denigrate SoB.
Not your most shining moment, Chief.
OR are you the sort that accepts what the bumbling, over-earnest talking heads burp up in their clumsy coverage of a crisis?
Oh, for pete’s sake…
@69

[THERE…fixed.]
Oh, for pete’s sake…
Way to rock the Twitterized deep thought, Chief.
