As Usual, the Rest of the World Still Has Some Learning to Do

We may be all cool with having a black president, but I’m not sure the rest of the world is quite ready. C. Raja Mohan, one of India’s leading foreign policy analysts, recently said this about Washington’s decision to lay off of the Kashmir region:

“You kill a chicken to scare a monkey. We killed the chicken and the monkey got the message.”

Dude, not cool. That may have been a perfectly cromulent statement when Bush was president, but now that crap will get war on you.

Comulent? Did I miss a word during my long hard study in the School of Hard Knocks?

This wwas simply a case of bad translation. The correct quote is:
“We choked our chicken while the monkey got a massage”

  5. Jimmy says:

It seems to me he got it wrong. You kill a monkey so you can have the monkey for dinner tonight, and the chicken tomorrow night. Unless it’s a hen.

Has anyone alerted the ACLU to this comment? Oh that’s right, they only attack honest Americans…never mind.

  7. The Animal says:

Which came first, the chicken or the monkey? Or the message?

Cromulent? Had to Google that one. Didn’t realize that watching television was a prerequisite to visiting this site. Considering the abysmal state of television, it saddens me.

In Kashmir they choke their chickens while watching monkeys
