Lime the Vote

The ultra-left-wing newspaper The Guardian had a number of British people contact Americans to urge them to vote. They now have posted the responses (CAUTION: contains profanity aimed at limeys). I think the opinion of foreigners in our election should rate somewhere below the opinion of pet ferrets (American pet ferrets).

  1. We used to have pet ferrets. They’re the funnest pets you could ever want. Oh, and they’ll also drive you crazy. Not the same type of crazy that democrats will drive you to. The same type of crazy that people who keep doing the sames things over and over again with out learning their lessons will drive you to.
Come to think of it, I guess that is just like democrats.

  2. Yeah, I’d heard about this. I live one county over from Clark, in Greene if y’all know where that is. I wish some English sissy had asked me to vote for someone other then Bush (if I could vote, that is), so as I might verbally thrash him as he’s never been thrashed verbally.
The nerve of those GD pansy Euro tards to think they might have a say in our election. Just for that we need to invade Canada. That’ll shut ’em up.

  3. I am from Springfield, OH (Clark County). It is VERY clear on who is voting for whom in the fall elections. Of course I’m a “right wing wack job” for saying this, but it’s definetly the “minorities” and low class who are voting for Kerry. Every Kerry supporter I get a chance to sit down with always sways to Bush. It’s not that I’m some amazing negotiator or propagandist; it’s because nothing undermines the truth. By the way, most of the “young democrats” in Clark County are from Wittenberg University, a very much 75% liberal school. My God will not let any sadistic country nor candidate win. And why in hell are OTHER countries so supportive of Kerry? It’s like business or sports… they want someone in office that sets them up to win. Thus, Kerry is the internationalists’ bitch. And internationalists are satan’s bitches.

  4. i’d like to say "Ultra left wing", the guardian? Whaaat, hehe they’re middle of the road guys, try reading the Daily Star for some real british leftism. That’ll get you all riled eh, fun!

  5. Perhaps the British, polite souls that they are, corrected the misspelling of their less able American cousins, SaraK? They are after all the birhtplace of the language and certainly they know best…
I wish I’d gotten a Limey letter to tell me how I should run my own country… then I’d be well-liked by the international community, in a subtly nuanced kind of way!

  6. If a nation of people who think the US is too powerful choose to endorse John Kerry as president of the US…
Hmm… let’s think about that a little, shall we?
Doesn’t anyone else see the problem here? Our foreign enemies (France, Germany, North Korea, Iran, terrorists, half the population of Britain, etc.) think the US is too powerful. They can’t compete with our strength, so they want to undermine it. They want a weaker US. So by endorsing John Kerry, they’re acknowledging that a.) Kerry doesn’t have America’s best interests at heart, b.) Bush will make America stronger, but Kerry will make America weaker, and subsequently, c.) a Kerry presidency will advantageous to our enemies and detrimental to America. I guess a, b, and c are really all the same thing.
WAKE UP PEOPLE! Even the foreigners who HATE America freely admit (in a roundabout way) that Bush will benefit America the most! The reason they hate Bush is because he’s looking out for America’s interests, and the one thing they can’t stand is the fact that America is prosperous and strong. Let’s keep America that way. Vote Bush!

  7. do these people’s lives suck so bad that they feel they have to involve themselves in our internal matters? we don’t go over there whining about who to elect into parliament. they want kerry? fine. just don’t expect him to come running when the shit hits the fan in thier own countries. bush on the otherhand, would probably even help the FRENCH, should they need it.

  8. Why do people think that they have a right to interfere in elections in other countries? Yes, this statement is coming from a Canadian who obsesses over US politics, but I don’t consider it my God(or in the case of these guys Marx)-given responsibility to sway Americans towards my opinions.
That said, did anyone notice how all the well-written letters were from Kerryites and all the ALLCAPS crap were from Bush backers? Anyone willing to cover the odds that they picked a balanced sample of the letters? I’m not.

  9. isn’t it funny how all these left-wing wackos think it’s ok for someone from another country to tell us who we should have running our country because it has an effect on their country, yet it was so wrong for us to not want Saddam (someone who affected our long-run national security) in power any longer?? apparently it’s ok to dictate who gets to be in power in another country as long as you are a wise, all-knowing liberal!
