Walmart seems to be taking cues from the Democratic underground playbook which actually has only one play by the way, namely calling people NAZI’s if they don’t like them.
For those to lazy to read the article. Walmart makes an ad saying lawmakers are acting like NAZI bookburners for attempting to change the zoning laws.
A few people got, shall we say, a little upset. Now Walmart says they plan to apologise.
Its a good thing they didn’t jump right out and apologise, because the last thing they need to do now is act a manner that some might consider brash or hasty.
Telling is the last line, a quote from a consultant who was responsible for creating the ad.
“People make mistakes. They move on,” he said.
The ‘.org’ is silent I guess.

First!
Typical WalMart story. Any time anyone anywhere near successful makes a mistake, the media is all over it. Does anyone actually think this will affect WalMart in any way, shape, or form? I didn’t think so.
WalMart has been demonized all across America because of something not completely in their control. This article talks about zoning laws, at least in part. I know that where I live, they are embattled in this exact same fight. It has nothing to do with WalMart as much as it has to do with local county governments versus the people in that particular community. I’m not necessarily taking WalMart’s side here, but anyone with any modicum of common sense will see that it’s not always their fault; sometimes they truly are the ones caught in the middle.
OK, all that said, we all realize that WalMart is just like any other business, perhaps yours. Their in business to make business (read: money). It seems to me that almost all of WalMarts problems come from sources not of their own making.
Sorry to rant about this but I’m tired of hearing about people who want everything readily available just as long as it’s not in their back yard. This is a problem that transcends WalMart, however, because of their notoriety, they’re the face of this fight. I’m all for property rights but when it comes to zoning laws, some people are all too hypocritical.
Hmm…..This is 4 in a row right? I promise it’s the last. And FYI, I don’t even frequent WalMart (Yeah, seriously, I prefer Target) but that isn’t the focus of this article. It’s the property rights/ re-zoning thing that just pisses me off regardless of the company behind it. Just my .02.
Well, thanks Leuthen.
Seems they invoked Godwin’s Law before any discussion whatsoever.

Funny, Monkey!
