Also: never squinted, never killed McAble.
Here’s what Senator John McCain told a reporter:
“I never considered myself a maverick.”
I’m not really against John McCain’s reelection — yes, he often violently sodomizes conservatives on occasion, but that’s just part of his charm. Still, that’s quite a bit of convenient rewriting of history in time for the Republican primary. What’s that equivalent to?
John Kerry saying, “I never said I served in Vietnam.”
Al Gore saying, “I never considered global warming a great threat.”
Barrack Obama saying, “I never made any statements about hope or change.”
Sarah Palin saying, “I never made any comparisons between me and a pitbull.”
Mr. T saying, “I never pitied a fool.”
Me saying, “I never said anything about nuking the moon.”
Snarf from the Thundercats saying, “I don’t recall ever saying, “Snarf”, snarf snarf.”
Anyway, might as well enjoy arch-conservative McCain while he’s around.
That’s like Bill Clinton saying “I did not have sex with that woman.”
Oh, wait…
It’s like Arnold saying he never said “I’ll be back.”
It’s like Vince the Sham Wow guy saying he never said “If you call right now – ’cause you know we can’t do this all day…”
It’s like Homer Simpson saying he never said “D’oh!”
It’s like Ricky Ricardo saying he never said “Lucy, jyou no can be in my cho!”
It’s like The Riddler saying he never said “Riddle me this, Batman!”
It’s like Clara Peller saying she never said “Where’s the beef?”
It’s like Bugs Bunny saying he never said “Nyah, what’s up, Doc?”
It’s like Charo saying she never said “Coochie coochie coochie!”
It’s like Teddy Roosevelt saying he never said “Bully!”
It’s like Hitler saying he never said “Sieg Heil!”
LOL @ Sham Wow guy above….what a carnie…here goes…
It’s like Fred Thompson saying he never said “My wife is exceedingly hot!”
Man, that’s like Obama saying “I didn’t promise Americans who make $ 250,000.00 or less a year I wouldn’t raise their taxes.” Tsk, tsk. Silly Americans, believing what Obama says.
It’s like Nixon saying “I never said I wasn’t a crook.”
It’s like FDR saying “I never said we had to fear fear itself.”
It’s like Arnold saying “I never said I’d be back.”
It’s like Jeff Foxworthy saying “I never said you might be a redneck.”
He’s old. He just got the words “Maverick” and “Conservative” mixed up. Give the guy a break.
He meant he never played “Bret Maverick” on TV. And, yes, me and McCain may be the only ones old enough to get that.
It’s like Joe Biden saying “I never said anything stupid.”
Other new McCain revelations: “I never considered my opposition to MLK Day in Arizona to be RAAAAACIST! ”
“I never considered my returning to Viet Nam as giving aid and comfort to Communists.”
“I never considered my work on the ‘Indian Gaming Regulatory Act’ to be an expansion of gambling.”
“I never considered taking money from Charles Keating Jr to be a bribe.”
“I never considered Clinton’s Supreme Court nominations (Stephen Breyer and Ruth Bader-Ginsburg) to be judicial activists.”
“I never considered ‘McCain-Feingold’ to be unconstitutional.”
It’s like Michael Moore saying, “I never said I wanted double cheese!”
It’s like Madonna saying, “I never said I felt like a virgin.”
Wow, the one guy on earth with a memory worse than mine.
is like Pletyobailouts saying “I never said mccain was a pos”.

” I never considered that voting against the ‘Bush Tax Cuts’ would make me the Lamestream Media’s ‘favorite Republican”.
” I never considered Jim Jeffords to be a liberal, and regret that he left the Republican Party.”
” I never considered Arlen S.P.E.C.T.R.E. to be a liberal, and regret that he left the Republican Party.”
” I never considered the ‘McCain-Lieberman Climate Stewardship Act’ bill to be bad for business, the U.S. economy, and taxpayers.”
” I never considered taking John Kerry’s side, vs. the Swift Boat Veterans, to be a knife in G.W. Bush’s back.”
” I never considered working with Ted Kennedy, on amnesty for illegal aliens, to be detrimental to our sovereignty, and the Republican Party.”
” I never considered opposing ‘torture’ of Islamic Jihadis, for information, to be weakness in the enemies’ eyes.”
It’d be like……..waaaaiiiittttt for it……….
TerribleTroy saying “I never said I was Terrible”.
I have decided that our world has de-evolved into one long strange Monty Python skit……or Mel Brooks Movie..
Nothing to see here kids…keep moving…move along…nothing to see…just another lying, out of touch, career politician…keep moving.
John McCain is not an arch conservative. He’s a rhino, he’s a go alonger, he a reach across the aisler. The only way I want my representative to reach across the aisle is if he’s going to slap some dipstick, digbat, nimrod of a liberal in the back of the head and “knock the b b back into the hole”.
My guess, he was trying to say, “He never thought of himself as a Maverick even though everyone else did”.
I have alot of respect for McCain as a soldier, But as a politician he can eat my poo. If he had won amnesty would have already passed and conservative disillusionment after Bush would have been a sad high point rather then the low point it now was.
Support JD Hayworth in the Arizona republican primary for McCain’s seat in the senate. He needs your donations of money and talent. Write up some fun advertisements for JD and send them to him!
I live in Arizona and hate that climber McCain. I suppose its just a coincidence he married a super rich lady? Yeah right. I do not think it a coincidence when a senator ends up married to a rich lady. He’s one rich lady short of a John Kerry!
Too bad McCain was not as hard on Obama as he is on JD Hayworth! When it comes to his senate seat he says “My precious” …… Is it a coincidence that he acts like the gollum?
Interesting thing: JD had a show on local talk radio KFYI here in Az. McCain made a big deal saying “he’s using his show to campaign” ………mind you JD did nothing of the sort and he had not even yet announced he was running!!!. He merely did what you and I would do and that is bash McCain for be a R.I.N.O. It was particularly ironic because of the McCain Feingold laws. Old Johnny McCain says its wrong for a company, you or I to go on the radio. He says its wrong for a talk radio show host to express himself politically……….but naturally its perfectly all well and good for a senator to express himself !!!! I am sooo sick of this guy!
So in August remember: Its time to put Arizona’s pet R.I.N.O. out to pasture!
