Arizona may have thought its new bill on illegal immigration was all fine and dandy, but look at what Mexico just did. They put up a travel advisory for Arizona; now Mexicans may be less likely to come to the state. See, that’s what gets you when passing a new law: The unintended consequences.
Did you even know Mexico had like a whole government and everything that could issue travel advisories and what not? Apparently about half the government’s function is complaining about U.S. border enforcement.

The law is working already.
I wonder if the kidnappers and drug dealers were issued the same orders from the Mexican authorities.
My mexican boycott – 35 years and counting.
Now, how do I get liberals to boycott my state?
Can Texas be next? One can only hope-c’mon Rick, let’s get moving on that!
I wish Canada had issued a travel advisory for Michigan; that way the state wouldn’t have been stuck with Granholm the past several years.
So, I guess Arizona’s new immigration law is working just fine!
My relatives in AZ will be upset. Those Pesos work really well to light their campfires.
Reminds me of that scene in Blazing Saddles..One wrong move and I shoot the illegal.
Oh noes !!!11! A Mexican boycott. What we we ever do ??!!?? I’m sereies !11!!!!
Can we also get all those Islamofascist countries to boycott us too? Please???
The American sheep abandoned their shepherd and then the first thing some of them did was open the gate to the wolves.
When liberals see open borders they see new welfare dependents and thus lots and lots of votes to replace all the black votes lost to abortion. When conservatives some see open borders some see cheap labor others see pay for the working poor dropping through the floor and unemployment among white and black blue collars skyrocketing. Others see public schools and malls overrun with herds of dangerous third world wolves among their own flock of sheep.
All cultures have their strengths and weaknesses and even those go through periods of ebb and flow. Some friends from college some very mild mannered kind hearted people I never heard judge or yell at anyone in all the years I knew them… have all of these facebook posts supporting this immigration thing and they are clearly exasperated and upset. And who can blame them they “aint gonna take it no mo!”
When some people think of illegal immigrants they think of a hardworking Dad and mom from a poor backwards dysfunctional broken leftist South American state. Who want to start a family and ive a better life for their children. Now their sons when they become teenagers and have never known what their parents escaped from and a lifetime of victim mongering from liberals and a locust like culture they become a real problem and their own parents are frightened of them and afraid of the influence these sons have on their younger siblings. That’s the modern world of decent American Hispanics. Sure hope liberals enjoy all the elections they win from their government run schools propoganda of victim mongering because they have destroyed families and and cultures and created an already out of control monster.
Other people think of the gangs that are fare more violent, numerous, and aggressive then black gangs ever have been. They think of the permanent government funded slums as awful or worse then any “Cabrini Green” or hood from the show “the Wire”. These are turning our new legions of people who have known only stealing, theft, and violence and have never been taught compassion or labor. (these things literally have to be taught and lived as a child – go visit any third world country) Fact is they are both right. Open borders is a great way to get both groups. Legal immigration as bad as it is is way better at sorting these groups then open borders.
(sorry no time to clean this rant up in a hurry)
Anyone considering a Mexican vacation this year should consider Arizona instead. Jus’ sayin’.
Why would anyone be considering a Mexican vacation?
Come to think of it, I have two thoughts:
1) What’s the absolute risk for a Mexican tourist? An early end to a vacation?
b) Any Mexican living near the border area is safer visiting the US than living in Mexico.
I challenge the usage of the term “illegal immigrant”…. immigrant is a false characterization. When you enter a country legally you are a immigrant. When you enter a country without its permission you are a INVADER.
Is there a crime of home immigration or is there a crime of home invasion?
And this is bad news?
Arizona can pass race base laws, pass Birthers laws, pass no permit conceal weapons laws and the state boycotted Martin Luther King Day, well the rest of the Country can boycott the state of Arizona and spank them where it hurts them the most their pocket book. Their phony patriotism is sickening, they are just racists going by another name. We all know you are just itching to put a sheet on their head? Let’s face it the Republicans had eight years to deal with health care, immigration, climate change and financial oversight and governance and they failed. It appears that the Republican Party is only good at starting wars (two in eight years, with fat contracts to friends of Cheney/Bush) but not at winning wars as seen by the continuing line of body bags that keep coming home. The Republicans party will continue turned inward to their old fashion obstructionist party (and their Confederacy appreciation roots) because they continue to allow a small portions (but very loud portion) of their party of “birthers, baggers and blowhards” to rule their party. I will admit that this fringe is very good at playing “Follow the Leader” by listening to their dullard leaders, Beck, Hedgecock, Hannity, O’Reilly, Rush, Savage, Sarah Bailin, Orly Taitz, Victoria Jackson, Michele Bachmann and the rest of the Blowhards and acting as ill programmed robots (they have already acted against doctors that perform abortions). The Birthers and the Tea party crowd think they can scare, intimidate and force others to go along with them by comments like “This time we came unarmed”, let me tell you something not all ex-military join the fringe militia crazies who don’t pay taxes and run around with face paint in the parks playing commando, the majority are mature and understand that the world is more complicated and grey than the black and white that these simpleton make it out to be and that my friend is the point. The world is complicated and people like Hamilton, Lincoln, and Roosevelt believed that we should use government a little to increase social mobility, now it’s about dancing around the claim of government is the problem. The sainted Reagan passed the biggest tax increase in American history and as a result federal employment increased, but facts are lost when mired in mysticism and superstition. For a party that gave us Abraham Lincoln, it is tragic that the ranks are filled with too many empty suits and the crazy Birthers who have not learned that the way our courts work is that you get a competent lawyer, verifiable facts and present them to a judge, if the facts are real and not half baked internet lies, then, and only then, do you proceed to trial. The Birthers seem to be having a problem with their so called “facts”. Let’s face it no one will take the Birthers seriously until they win a case, but until then, you will continue to appear dumb, crazy or racist, or maybe all three. I heard that Orly Taitz now wants to investigate the “Republican 2009 Summer of Love” list: Assemblyman, Michael D. Duvall (CA), Senator John Ensign (NV), Senator Paul Stanley (TN), Governor Mark Stanford (SC), Board of Ed Chair, and Kristin Maguire AKA Bridget Keeney (SC), she wants to re-establish a family values party, that’s like saying that the Catholic Church cares about the welling being of children in their care, too late for that.
Nice copy/paste spam, Montana. Can’t post an original thought for yourself? Same post all over the net, such a busy little beaver.
Montana, only people with jobs can boycott a state. I highly doubt you’re currently using your welfare check to buy goods from Arizona.
I really enjoy the irony of Montana’s post explaining how the world is complicated and one big gray area, then proceeds to describe republicans with a broad brush in terms of black and white.
Hot damn! Where do I sign up? Proof positive that they’ve achieved what no other State has even dared!
Man, if more States had the courage of the Arizonans there wouldn’t BE an immigration problem. Or a States’ Rights problem. Or a 2nd Amendment problem. Or a politically correct holiday problem. Sounds pretty good to me. Hell, maybe we can get the illegals to boycott ALL of the United States!
The commies pushing for ‘gay rights’ claim 10% of the population is ‘gay’…..and they therefore qualify for special laws to the point they’re pushing to make what bathroom you use optional.
Oh sorry, those are “transgendered” people, they have to be like .001%. There’s probably more murderers than that, should we make murder legal?
Since these same people claim that like 50%+ of the population is ‘racist’, doesn’t that mean that whatever we ‘racists’ say goes?
If .001% can force new ridiculous laws, 50% should at least get to demand we follow the one we already have.
Hey, Montana cut and pasted the same rant over at Weasel Zippers! Don’t you just love how liberals can tie all those different things together? Abraham Lincoln, Birthers, Reagan, Bush, Cheney, Beck, Limbaugh, The Tooth Fairy, Micky Mouse, Homer Simpson, The Chupacabra, Alien Abductions, you name it. The inside of a liberal’s mind must be like a NASCAR race!
Hey troll, have you ever been acquainted with the concept of the paragraph, or is that a conservative concept as well?
Hmm, I am an American of Hispanic descent and I appreciate what Arizona is doing.
When did it become wrong to require folks to follow the law? By the thinking shared by Montana et. al. I could rob a bank because it would be quicker and easier than actually getting a job and earning the money and its not fair that the bank has all that money and I dont.
I see the logic in grouping anyone who is for legal imigration with all sorts of fringe groups. This projects an image of all these folks being the same “person”. If you dont like illegal immigration than you are a gun-toting redneck bible thumping neanderthal and should therefore be ignored and dismissed as a lunatic. This makes sense when trying to combat a majority, marginalize and dismiss.
If the same tactic was directed at liberals they would a cry foul and want justice for getting their feelings hurt – now it becomes hate speech.
Ugh, what a bunch of babies – when will Montana and friends start boycotting the rest of the U.S.? Now that would be a good day.
I’m reminded of Ann Coulter’s reaction when the Flying Imam terrorist-circus-act announced they were boycotting an airline: “Really? Bonus!”
I can see the travel adverts now:
“Come to Arizona, the only state the Mexicans won’t!”
Let’s see… Mexico is boycotting Arizona. If we could just get them to boycott a few more states…
Thanks for the laughs, the Arizona Republican Party is at the mercy of the Tea Party / Bither/ Blowhards Conservative that said nothing and did nothing while Bush and the Republican Congress were getting the country into deeper and deeper trouble. The conservatives who organize the Tea Party/ Bither protests sat on their hands and did nothing. They did nothing when the balanced budget was destroyed by Bush, nothing when Bush exploded the deficit, nothing when Bush cut taxes instead of raising them to pay for the two wars he started. So honestly who cares what your small group says or wants you are a bunch of phonies who came late to the party, game over.
Montana, while we did nothing while Bush did all those terrible things, what did You do?
Try to answer in 500 words or less.
I saw Jay Leno at Correspondent Dinner his best line was; “That was my favorite story (this year) Republicans and a Lesbian bondage club. It’s ironic, Republicans don’t want lesbian getting married but they do like watching them “tie the knot”. So I thought that was interesting.”
You can say the same about Tea Party (the hatters nor debaters or as others have dubbed them screamer not dreamers), they say they respect the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence but they do not mind passing laws, through weak Governors who only care about getting reelected on the backs of undocumented workers, that will not pass Constitution muster, just like Arizona’s House Bill 2779 from two years ago, keep passing them Arizona and the rest of us will continue to challenged them and you will fail in a court of law (and yes we will Boycott You).
