Here’s an Onion article: Poll: 1 In 5 Americans Believe Obama Is A Cactus. But that got me thinking. Right now the left likes to freak out if some poll shows a few people think Obama is a Muslim or not born in this country — of course, though they’re in full freak out mode right now. But has anyone ever done a control case on these type polls? Like poll how many people think Obama is the reincarnation of Hitler or that Obama is mentally retarded or that Obama is an evil wizard? Also, could poll stuff like whether Obama is the second coming of Christ or whether Obama is an advanced human sent from the future to save us.
My guess is that a lot of people just answer these completely partisan and if they don’t like Obama they select what they consider to be the bad answer and if they like Obama they select what they consider to be the good answer — and thus the answers should change with the president’s popularity (which is why even more people think Obama is a Muslim now since everyone thinks he sucks). Nothing more to it than that. I remember some polls during the Bush years where it was like half of Democrats said they thought Bush either knew about or caused 9/11, yet Democrats didn’t really act like they thought the president murdered U.S. citizens (or, at least, I hope if Americans thought the president was a mass murderer, they’d do more than whine a whole bunch). So could people please stop freaking out about these things. All this paranoia about paranoia could lead to violence — mainly me punching you.
I think we can all agree Obama is a vacuum… he sucks.

What may surprise you about all of this is how many of them are technically accurate to some degree.

Democrats hated Bush because they hate anyone that the leftist media tell them to hate, even if it’s Joe Lieberman, regardless of any evidence that person has actually ever done anything that should warrant such an opinion…and because in order to be a democrat you have to be an idiot and a sheep. And, yes, they will blame Booosh or Cheney, or a company named Halliburton that they really don’t know a thing about, just because they’re idiots.
However, those who think Obama is a Muslim do so because he told George Stephanopolis he was, because Turkey’s foreign minister felt better after Obama confided to him that he was a Muslim, because he’s clearly embraced every Muslim cause while attacking Christianity, and – like any good Sunni Muslim – doesn’t celebrate birthdays or Christmas. Folks think he’s born outside this country because his wife calls Kenya his “home country” and he refuses to produce a simple birth certificate to prove otherwise, despite multiple lawsuits, while a small town in Kenya has been erecting a monument to commemorate the “place of his birth”.
Evil…yes. A wizard…no way. He can’t possibly be a wizard, he hasn’t got a pointy hat, or a beard, or a magical wooden staff, nor does he have any knowledge of magical incantations. In other words he has no wizard type accouterments or knowledge. Besides, if he was a wizard, surely he would have turned Biden into a toad long ago.
Well, a wizard’s prime requisite is Intelligence, which doesn’t make sense in this case. I’d go more with bard, what with the Charisma being the prime requisite, how much he likes hearing himself speak, and the general overall uselessness, all the while thinking he’s integral to the party, er, country.
You’d have to be careful with that…there were quite a lot of people in south Texas when I was a missionary there that asked us – in all seriousness – if Obama was the antichrist. As if we, being Men of God, would know that.
And being south Texas, they probably voted for him (well, the ones that were citizens, anyhow…).
You know, Frank, you could probably get some stimulus money to perform such a study.

Look, there wasn’t some conservative that blogged “Hey, I think Zero is a muslim, who’s with me?”. It was the pantywaist poll writers that decided to ask the question, they got the response they were looking for, so they could use it against conservatives to try to paint us as wackos. They hit this one out of the park too, because suddenly lots of conservatives are jumping up and down saying “OOOH, Yeah, I think he’s a muslim!” as if it was their idea in the first place.
Poll writers don’t ask questions to find out what you think; they write questions so they can tell the world that you think what they want you to think. They don’t ever ask, “should Big Zero be allowed to stay in office another 2 years?” or “was the nomination of McClown the reason an incompetent communist puppet is now in the White House?”.
Totally impossible. Obama cannot be an evil wizard.

Oh pleazzzzzze. To be a wizard one would have to be somewhat competent in what they do and since “the one” isn’t competent in anything, as far as we know, he can’t be a wizard. What he is however, is a cheap, 5th rate, carnival, flim flam, man trying to sell Dr O’s miracle liniment, cures economic woes, social ills, liers tongue and scurvy. Come one, come all.

39 percent of democrats think Bush knew about 9/11. Another 20 percent or so aren’t sure. That makes it official. The democrat party isn’t just stupid. It’s stupid and evil.
